I would. And I wouldn't have bought one. Not a fan of .23 /kwh to the rip off utility SDG&E. And don't want to hear if I can afford a Tesla I can afford to fund SDG&E's pensions.
Then I see absolutely no reason to have them on the map unless they are open for business. What's the point? All they do is suck people into believing what the sales people parrot out. Plus, Tesla comments on every other thing they are doing ad nauseum.
I don't believe that is the area..plus there is not enough room for the 26 SCs mentioned. More likely the upper parking area by gym. Regardless, nothing much getting done anywhere in San Diego.
Passed through proposed area this morning. Still no sign of activity. Were some utility markings on the pavement that I don't remember being there a couple of weeks ago ..perhaps a good sign?
Thanks for the picture. One wonders if the driver couldn't see a Fire truck hanging out in his lane? (doubtful).
Also, hitting that truck square on @65mph and basically no injuries? That's impressive.
No offense, please, but why does the link to the the thread re:7710 El Camino still take you to The Shoppes thread and clicking on the blue dot for 7710 goes to an error message? That said, we all appreciate your efforts as moderator.
I looked at that area a while back after looking at your original post (#100) and agree that is a much better location and is away from the main parking areas. Also ample for 26 chargers. Thanks for the clarification.
Drove by "proposed" location by BofA Bank... there are only 17 parking spots roped off.. assume at least 1 for equipment? So not sure about the 26 stalls. The others would have to next to bank? ....... but will take whatever we can get.
When I bought my X in June (2017) I was assured there would be 4 new SC in San Diego area by end of year or at least on their way. Carlsbad only one with permit and I guess as of now zero construction. Big disappointment.
Am well aware of that.. but Tesla is not always that great at updating things. They also promised 4 new supercharger locations in San Diego by end of year.. only one permitted..not even under construction.
