    Denver Airport Parking

Thanks everyone. This is all really helpful. Will charge at Denver SC near airport and will leave car at 90% in the morning at a lot.

    Denver Airport Parking

Greetings from Grand Junction, CO. For reasons too exhausting to explain, I have decided to drive to DIA and park my MX 100D for 9 days while on vacation. I need a vacation from the planning of this vacation... I thought I read somewhere that the long term parking at DIA might have charging...

    Beta on Flaming Gorge chargers?

I just made the trip from Grand Junction, CO to Afton, WY this weekend. Will be returning back Monday. Rock Springs SC is the only option besides driving through SLC. In the past with an ICE vehicle I would take the shortcut through Manilla and Mountain View, WY and cut up through Carter, WY...

UT Road trip in EV- Hwy 15, SR 12 - National Park routes

I live in Grand Junction and have a MX 100D. I have done these drives multiple times and you won't have any problems. Boulder, UT (next to Hells Kitchen) has a very fast destination charger. If restaurant is open, EAT. Take some time for Capital Reef Nat'l Park while you are going through...

Elon: "Feature complete for full self driving this year"

I received 12.6 today with FSD in 2018 X. I like it, it seems safe to use since it stops at all lights and stop signs in a timely way, but it is also easy to override with eh accelerator pedal on green lights. Seems intuitive and nicely designed. It also feels like a game, how can I train the...

    Supercharger — Montrose, CO

If going south, the two L2 chargers in Ridgway town park are pretty quick and always available. Good restaurants nearby too. I have used the Centennial Plaza chargers in Montrose often when grabbing pizza at Colorado Boy. Worth the charge!

Grand Junction, CO Service Center and Body Shop

I'm starting the year off with this idea. Tesla needs to do this to better serve these mountain towns. Currently a mobile tech drives out from Colorado Springs a few times a month to service vehicles in Vail, Aspen, Glenwood Springs, Grand Junction, Telluride, Durango, etc. I'm uncertain of...

Colorado Springs Service Center - 1323 Motor City Drive

Grand Junction needs a service center and a certified body shop. We have to wait for Jack from CS to drive over to us all the time for repairs. The guy must be exhausted of the drive. He tells me Tesla has been trying to hire a mobile tech in the western slope for 2 years now. Congrats to SC...

    Supercharger — Montrose, CO

I think we are in agreement. I'd still like to see Ridgway though for personal reasons living in GJ. In fact I'm driving to Telluride on Friday and wouldn't mind a boast before arrival to avoid L2 chargers there.

    Supercharger — Montrose, CO

I don't disagree. My point was instead of 2 chargers they could get most of the benefits for the region with one in Ridgway. I keep a sailboat in Ridgway and drive to/from Grand Junction on a single charge. The only hard part would be GJ to Poncha with the uphill grade but I doubt the route...

    Supercharger — Montrose, CO

I emailed Tesla about 6 months ago suggesting Ridgeway over Montrose and Telluride (consolidation in the area). Ridgeway would give greater access into the San Juans and easy access to Durango and Farmington. As well as over the Blanding and Poncha Springs. You can get to Grand Junction SC...

    Colorado Superchargers (location speculation, discussion)

I emailed Tesla at [email protected] about 6 months ago suggesting they place a charger in Ridgeway instead of Montrose and Telluride. It would be more efficient in the region. Never heard back from them.

Tesla Owners Can Edit Maps to Improve Summon Routes

Open google maps on your phone, look at a shopping mall parking aisles. Then look on your cars display. It's not OSM, it matches Google. I understand why they use Valhalla for navigation, because they can tweak it for their needs. But the display is ugly google, which is weird to me.

Tesla Owners Can Edit Maps to Improve Summon Routes

I don't know for sure but it does seem like an odd mix of services. And since v9 the maps display has been really ugly compared to before (my opinion). The roads a a mess of grey lines that are hard to distinguish from other types of roads. Google map prices

Tesla Owners Can Edit Maps to Improve Summon Routes

You are seeking the level tag, which can be used for ways such as service roads and parking aisles. Key:level - OpenStreetMap Wiki Key:crossing - OpenStreetMap Wiki Do you have an example of the ways in question? I'd like to test in my area.

Tesla Owners Can Edit Maps to Improve Summon Routes

Display is google. At least in Colorado where I live. Doesn't make sense to pay for google tiles but use Valhalla as routing engine. Especially if you can make the display much better looking with OSM. The current road display is painful on the eyes.

Tesla Owners Can Edit Maps to Improve Summon Routes

This. I work with OSM a lot in my day job. They may use it for display but not navigation. FYI - Mapbox uses OSM for their maps, not their own proprietary data. So what you fix in OSM ends up in Mapbox which may end up in display in your car. Someone mentioned it above. You can also learn...

    Supercharger - Beaver, UT

Green river can be fast. Choose the charger closest to curb and flags, I have found it to be the fastest. I watched Riding in Cars with Comedians on Netflix at St George Supercharger over the weekend. ;)

    Supercharger - Green River, UT

I use it often (although skip it too for Price or Richfield when possible). Typically busy despite its remote location. I also have a suspicion that they are in some way prepping for Semi usage. The parking areas in Green River and Beaver are large for trucks to use. Richfield doesn't seem...

Driving from Denver, CO to Mesa Verde National Park

You can go from Poncha Springs to Ouray where there is a few options while soaking in the hot springs (Distillery with Tesla destination chargers, Ouray Hot Springs with L2 chargers, etc). Also Ridway park has L2 chargers that are free to use and the nearby restaurants are great. From there...

    TESLA Sightings in Jordan...

Lots of electric cars in Jordan. Up until 2019 there was no import tax on them and so it was affordable to bring in even second hand cars from California. Also, the king drives a MX P100D as per showroom staff in Amman. Also, a few superchargers in the country. I stopped at one on my way to...

    2019.12.1 Update

    2019.12.1 Update

New public EV chargers at the Grand Canyon

    Best Tesla for 65K

I don't think this is a correct assessment. V9 software will add on ramp/off ramp feature which will be substantially different than what AP1 can do. And in 5 years, AP2 will be more functional than AP1 which will do what it currently does with only safety updates.
  49. vespax

    Best Tesla for 65K

If you live in rural America like I do, AP1 is just about everything you need. Unless you want to just play with new features on occasion. AP1 is still leaps and bounds beyond a standard car, and with unlimited supercharging, a Tesla at 60k+ is still a great deal.
