Yes I was having same issue trying to take delivery at SC taking delivery. Tesla SA ended up doing it on her end.

Nothing. The order will be matched with a VIN when Tesla logistics decide. Then they bug you to complete tasks when car is en route.

I have had multiple Teslas living outside since 2017 and never had a problem, except the early days when the doors/windows/handles would freeze up. Direct sun most of the day, temps vary from -10 to 100. My first was PPF and ceramic but the others I didn't do anything to.

I hear you and received a similar quote but clear PPF on entire front and door panels with whole car ceramic was quoted less than 4k. Bugs don’t damage PPF in my experience but recommendation is to wash every one to two weeks.

Update for all east coast day one orders, train made it to NJ and trucking to MA expected early to mid next week. If wondering SA can ping the car location in their system.

I understand this and it was my experience with a recently purchased Tesla as well. I believe that the speakers have to break in. I listen no louder than 6ish for the first 1000 miles and the sound does get noticeable better.

My car on train in NV yesterday, EDD moved up a week today to 6/2-6/11. Born 5/22 and VIN 5/23. Boston area. My point is once produced they move fast to delivery.

They do t make to order, rather batches of a configuration. So if you order from the right delivery location and they made extra of your configuration then you get a fast VIN. It seems to me that since the price was so low vs expectations on order open day, they prioritized the highest margin...

Flawless first 300 miles. Hummingbird was sidelined for 2 days for PPF and CC. Taking her on first adventure (drive) today about 100-125 miles with highway. FSD worked as good as my M3 and can’t wait for new UI firmware, let alone next FSD. Thx for asking.

Be careful - I read the code section and it says bus credit equal to excess EV cost to ICE equivalent. M3P is cheaper than other 2.9 to 60 cars so as I read it not even partial business credit, let alone 7500.

Understood but trade pricing engines don’t ask month of manf. It is a 23 or 24 so there is a year of depreciation already. If you keep it for 10 yrs doesnt matter but if you trade in 2-3 you will be disappointed

Already a year of depreciation and they have not held any value so far. Also camber from factory tends to shred inside tires, so if you don’t care about speed LR 3.8 to 60 should do fine ;)
