Yep, this is just how it works now it seems. I checked the software page again just now, last checked on the 19th (it’s the 28th today). I changed the display language and it’s immediately downloading 26.8.

Best way is to just change the display language. It does a much quicker reboot (maybe 10 seconds). Like the guy above, the only time I've received updates since getting the car a month or two ago is by doing a reboot or the language change reboot. I'm experimenting with it at the moment and...

Still broken with 26.7

Hmm, Tessie missed a drive this morning for the first time. In fact it seems to be missing about 12 hours of time. I did update the app yesterday on my phone and I'm not 100% sure if I opened since I did, would that cause this?

Honestly until someone gets Tesla's attention on this I'm not sure it'll get fixed, unless they accidentally fix it with a browser update down the line.

Sure but my point is it's happened to people in the past. It's not a new problem. It doesn't really help us to fix it, but it's not just a "car" problem.

I spent a bit of time fidding with it yesterday trying to get it to work. There's quite a few instances on google of people with the same problem (but not in a Tesla). Basically it'll load, you get the spaceship, then the xbox logo, then a black screen until it quits. Some people have solved it...

Yeah, most of the time when I try to check the cameras on the iOS app it fails. Retrying does work sometimes but it can take a few goes.

Yeah I’d be amazed if they actually update the credits for referrers. Doesn’t really benefit them at all to do that, whereas the buyer gets 3 months of EAP which is just a potential sale for Tesla when it runs out.
