S100D Air Conditioner Cuts out on Humid Days?

UPDATE: like many others the update (.26) appeared to have fixed the problem for good. I haven't had a cutout in about 2 weeks

S100D Air Conditioner Cuts out on Humid Days?

OK Great! Thanks all - I will have Tesla take a look at it next week then!

S100D Air Conditioner Cuts out on Humid Days?

Hi! I had my Model S since November now and it runs great! I am experiencing an interesting problem though - on hot (esp humid) days, the air conditioner will stop pumping cool air for about 1-2 minutes in the cabin. This causes the temperature to spike very quickly. I even have this plotted on...

    Model S 100D accelaration time

I'm pretty sure the 100D's now have the same firmware/drivetrain/battery as my late 2017 100D, so you would have the same results. Honestly you probably wont be able to tell the 0.2 second difference. 0-60 in <4 seconds is stupid fast as is - the instant torque you get when you hit the pedal...

    Model S 100D accelaration time

I've measured my late 2017 100D Model S on stock continental tires at approx 4.0 seconds on a flat street at 80 degrees Fahrenheit. The performance is approx +/- 0.2 seconds depending on the temperature of the battery and tires.

    these cheap tires worth it?

I stick with Michelin - I really really like the Pilot Super Sports for summer or the AS/3 series for all weather. The PSS and the newer PSS 4S tires are absolutely stunning

Need advice dealing with not-at-fault insurance claim

For this expensive of a car, its worth getting a insurance lawyer to ensure that everything is handled correctly and to ensure you get max DV

Preset temp changes when I open the door

I thought I was going crazy - it appears to be a bug. I like to get my car nice and toasty in the morning by remotely setting climate to ~76 degrees, but it jumps down to 72 when I get in the car.

    Update "failed", but it didn't?

I've also had this happen - no biggie, if the version is up to date on the "about this tesla" page - then you are golden

    DC DC Failure

The blown fuse was likely a symptom of the dc/dc converter failing, not the actual cause. In fact, that fuse probably saved your car from burning to the ground

    2017.48 a774ed8 Is out!

My update "failed" to install last night as well - but the version # was updated in the end. Not sure if the failure message itself was a bug, or if something is actually wrong. I figure I'll wait till the next update to see if that fails too.

I am not sure SC has uncorcked my 2017 S100D

Mine is uncorked, the 3.5-3.7 seconds is pretty hard to do - the battery has to be right temperature, full charge, road conditions have to be right, etc. I only got to 3.85. You can always ask them to check at your local SC, but I found emailing tesla in your MyTesla account will get you a...
