That was my theory also and I noticed that Cabin Overheat Protection seemed to be using primarily recirculate which would make matters worse. I've been intentionally turning recirculate off when I think about it and it seems to have helped.

I'm thinking that aluminum foil underpants might be more appropriate in this circumstance.
