I agree. An alternative would be to add it to the list of controls available with the lower right steering wheel button, along with "TEMPERATURE" and "BLOWER". Or add heated wheel to the driver profile. That way it can come on immediately, and we just need to change our profile two times per year.

I know that Tesla prefers all propriotary apps, but the voice recognition on my Model S is less accurate that it is on my Jeep Wrangler. It would be great to have Apple Car Play or something similar in order to read text messages, and make calls from a large contact list

In the last several months I've found that Tune In channels, particularly needs channels, experience a "loading error" and won't play. I have some that simply won't play at all, and others that play intermittently. Can anyone suggest a cure for this? Thanks!
