I can't believe they would ship the car with this feature so poorly implemented. Wouldn't be so bad if the door popped ajar and the motor disengaged immediately. But right now you fight the motor each time. Shoddy work Tesla!

This workaround does the trick, no venting since reassigning the button to a different function. Thanks @ChadFeldheimer

Yes I've had my scroll wheel replaced a couple times. The issue that preceded the sunroof venting was the voice assistant button would honk the horn and not active the voice assistance. They changed the scroll wheel and then eventually the wiring harness...didn't fix anything. One of the...

OMG, didn't even think about trying that. Just made the change, will report back if that workaround does the trick.

This is infuriating. This is a software bug that was introduced about a year ago. Countless updates later my roof still unpredictably vents when I open the doors. Especially problematic when it is raining or I take it to the carwash. Come on Tesla figure this out and get it fixed!!!!

Yes I'm seeing the issue too. For me it isn't limited to BT connections, it happens with all my streaming audio. VERY annoying.
