The only thing I don't get is at the 10:41 mark in the video he shows that the onboard navigation estimates that 92% of the battery will be used to travel 171 miles...which puts total estimated range at ~186 miles. Agree with his comments that using the heater can significantly impact range...so...

I'm curious how much extra force is required to close the trunk after this mod? Without the mod it already seems like a decent amount of force is required..

You can try plugging your VIN into an online decoder to see some of the options (e.g. VIN Decoder | TeslaTap) . I didn't order AP - although I still have a couple of weeks left with the 30-day AP trial. I'll check to see if the code is updated after my trial expires..

I've had my SR+ for two weeks and I agree with just about all of your points. That said, remember that no other car offers continual improvements through software updates. Also - from what I've seen, Tesla responds quickly to feedback (e.g. improving brakes based on Consumer Reports article...

I don't think my SR+ has side pocket lights...these are the lights I founded: frunk, trunk, four dome lights (2 front, 2 middle), 4 door lights (shine on the ground)

Just updated to the latest software version...5% peak power boost but no more satellite view in Day mode. :/

Try formatting another USB...worked for me.

There is satellite view and map view...look in your display settings: Day mode = satellite view, night mode = map view. My SR+ does not have any of the four highlighted items.

Nope - I checked the sound settings just now and didn't find anything for immersive..

Confirmed that the frunk, trunk and all four doors have ambient lighting (in addition to the four dome lights)...no footwell lights.

Per the post above - the navigation screen looks exactly like that of a LR/P3D except no colors showing the traffic (navigation does use traffic to find the best route though). I also confirmed that under the Display settings you can switch between Day, Night and Auto modes...Day = satellite...

In my SR+ there are dome lights, lighting in the center console and ambient lighting in the trunk (can't recall whether the frunk has any lights)...perhaps the Premium Interior includes extra lighting on top of this? I'm not an audiophile but the audio sounds good - clear at high volumes with...

*You can switch between Day and Night mode under the Display settings...so you can have the satellite view during the night but the entire display is running in day mode so it's brighter. *I didn't get any mats either...though I did get a chrome rear license plate frame that says 'Model 3' on it...

Correct - no garage opener whatsoever in the SR+...I saw on another thread someone suggesting that Tesla might offer Homelink hardware at some point. Until then, it's back to the 'ol clicker.

There are what i'd call white-colored parking lights within the bumper..but they are definitely not fog lights. Hoping it's also a software thing (I was actually hoping it would show up after I updated the software but still no-go).

Curious if you have a 3 Standard Plus? It's definitely not there in my Quick Controls or Lights menu..

Zaxxon agree with your Homelink comment - I'm coming from an old Leaf SV that had Homelink *and* heated steering wheel. :/ While I liked my Leaf - the comparison to the 3 is like a golf-cart vs. a go-kart :D

Cool thx for the responses - kind of lame that fog lights are listed in the SR+ package but apparently not available (not in quick settings and the light stalk doesn't do it either). I did create a TeslaCam folder in the root directory but will check it out again.

Anyone with an SR+ been able to turn on fog lights? It's listed on the Tesla site as part of the SR+ partial premium interior but I can't find it (someone else mentioned that on the LR it's in the light settings - if so then I can confirm it's not there in the SR+ light settings menu).

Nah - just disappointed in how much Tesla’s CPO program has deteriorated over the past several months.

That’s not a great excuse - the least his SA could’ve done is confirmed any body damage prior to delivery...it’s disingenuous to not point out obvious blemishes, especially after a customer had placed a deposit and scheduled delivery.

Sorry to hear - that's terrible. Did you at least get your $2.5k deposit back?

Yikes what a nightmare - before flying out for delivery did you explicitly ask your SA whether there was any body damage? In your other post I think you also mentioned the wheels had lots of curb rash...was this disclosed prior to delivery? I'm in the market for a CPO so hoping to learn from...
