@hmerrill3 it arrived in Houston on this past Monday the 27th. Since our rescheduled pickup was the 1st I asked if we could get it sooner and they said Wednesday the 29th would have been the earliest.

Oh just a FYI for anyone messing around with settings in the car. DO NOT click the “Adjust Headlights” button in the service menu! It’s a simple fix if you do, it’s just the telling your wife to trust you as you take out the back seat and half the frunk!

@hmerrill3 I feel like they are getting “lost” ones a bit of a priority. Ours arrived on Monday mid day and they said if we wanted Wednesday we could get it.

We are all ready over that 100 miles! In fact I called my wife and told her I can see her doing 80 on the app and to slow down! Haha

I’m sure if we asked they would have filmed us. But yes the car was in the back in a little carpeted area where we went over it. It actually was nice to have a little private area to go over the car.

So we picked ours up this morning at Houston North. Fit and finish looked great and there was a tiny surface scratch they buffed out. In the hour and half I was there they unloaded about 15 or so 3’s.

I agree with @louisTM3 , Tesla should be trying to get all outstanding orders delivered they can so they can claim the profit for Q3. I agree this whole process has been a freaking nightmare, but I suppose when you probably double your deliveries from one quarter to the next you have some...

@amietk @LonestarV it must have arrived by another carrier instead of United Road but my car was not on any of the past three days of Houston North manifests. @ScottStout yes my car arrived in OKC from Chicago by way of United Road on 8/10/18.

So my ISA called my wife this morning and our car arrived in Houston today. He is trying to get us rescheduled to pick it up early.

On a side note, my VIN just showed back up in my Tesla portal. So i guess there is some truth that it will reappear a week before your "tentative" delivery. o_O

I saw two delivery receipts to Houston north that have early VINs (28xxx through upper 30xxx) so maybe this means some purgatory vehicles are making the way in.

At this point I’m thinking Tesla should refund that $925 in destination fees. Or credit it in supercharger fees.

I’ve been digging through United Road this morning, and I can see the truck that transported my car plus eight others from Illinois to Oklahoma City. The odd thing is that one truckload is the only one to ever goto that location in OKC. And it’s been MIA ever since then.

My wife spoke to our ISA earlier and he said that it looks like the car is moving but no idea where it is. But it may be out of OKC, so ya that tells me everything.

Yup mine disappeared right after they rescheduled my delivery, but it still shows the same one on my MVPA when I click the link. But I agree it seem like a lot of the earlier VINs are having this "delay issue".

So I checked this out and the manifest shows ours and eight others have an origin of Illinois? The destination was Oklahoma City and that it arrived on the 10th.

So just got an email from our ISA that our new appointment date has been pushed till September 1! They told me my car shipped last week? And now it’s apparently stuck in Oklahoma. This frustrates me because we live two hours from the SC and we both had to take days off. I know I’m not the only...

Just called the Houston SC and our car is not there it was supposed to be there yesterday. So at this point I’m willing to bet that our appointment on Thursday is gonna get pushed.

Seeing all these delays has me nervous that our delivery that is scheduled for next Thursday might not happen. Which sucks because I have to work and so does my wife. Fingers crossed ours goes smoothly.

Finally after almost a month of waiting for our MVPA, we finally got it yesterday. Signed it and our CU ACH’d payment today. Scheduled to pick it up on the 23rd at Houston North.

My wife contacted our ISA Kyle on Wednesday of last week and he said our MVPA should be coming at anytime . Well I’ve been keeping an eye on the assigned vin we had (low 34xxx) using the js trick but on Friday it disappeared. So not sure what this means but I know my wife’s patience is wearing...

I stopped by Plano Legacy West and signed up for test drive Monday morning while we are in town.

Well my account page changed today and made me confirm all my info. I guess this means we are closer to getting the MVPA?

We are still waiting for our MVPA to show up. Contacted our ISA on Monday before I knew about the whole contract system crash. Being in IT I understand how long it can take to recover from a system failure my wife on the other hand doesn’t

We are just waiting on our MVPA to sign. Our ISA Kyle has been great so far. My wife spoke to him on Friday and he said he had 25 MVPAs he was waiting on. He even stated that the process used to be a lot smoother but now it’s chaotic.

So I spent an hour on hold with the 888 number, inquired if I had been assigned a VIN and the gentleman on the phone was very helpful. Checked and I had been assigned one and provided me the whole number. Said that he was making a note on my reservation and that I should be contacted by an ISA...

I’ve had patience with this process as have others too. But my patience has limits. This is the wife’s car and she really wants it, but Tesla is gonna have to show me some positive headway in production by Q3.

I too was unimpressed by the 19”, I think the Aeros without the covers look way better.

We asked and they said at this time they didn’t know about test drives on the 3.

Wife and I went this today about noon, no line and got to spend about 15 minutes or so with the car. Wife was concerned about the size but after seeing it in person she was happy. It really is a nice car but I agree the steering wheels seems small.
