    Supercharger - Waco, TX

Wife stopped at Waco on Saturday on way back from College Station to Dallas. Took picture of new stalls.

Supercharger - College Station, TX - Texas Avenue South

Not true. I was at around 120 kWh and as soon as he plugged in my car dropped to 72 kWh.

Also, don't do Corsicana (I-45), it is much farther North than Waco and will be harder to get from Corsicana to CS and back, than from Waco. I have tried both and Waco is much better unless you plan to charge in CS.

Supercharger - College Station, TX - Texas Avenue South

I did the trip last weekend stopping at Waco SC on way down (Sat) and way back (Sun), plus I plugged into a 110 outlet at the house I was staying at overnight (added about 50 miles). Waco has 10 stalls, but 1 had a broken sign on it. There were only 4-5 other Teslas there both times I was...

    Anyone using Griddy for electricity?

We have 2 Model 3's and drive around 300 per day combined and a 2 story house around 4k sq ft. I switched to Griddy in mid March to take advantage of time of use rates being super low during the night when we charge both cars (usually around 1.5 cent or less). Before August heat wave, I was...

Supercharger - College Station, TX - Texas Avenue South

As an Aggie w/ Tesla from DFW area (McKinney) who has season tickets, the key advantage of the SC over L2 is the speed of charge. Last time I went down, I charged at the L2 at hotel behind the Saltgrass, but I was only able to charge for about 2-3 hours before I had to drive to the stadium. I...

I'm also looking forward to this one! Would help a lot when driving down for Aggie Games.

    Great. Glad that worked.

    Let's talk financing rates

I did not check how long the rate was good for because I needed to execute the loan ASAP because Tesla was ready to take my money. But, the original loan approved by LightStream was good for 30 days. Also, I execute the loan on Friday and they let me pick what day I wanted the money deposited...

    Let's talk financing rates

I used it last week. My approval letter from the CU was just like yours, it only had the loan amount on it. So, I emailed the CU back asking for term and rate I was approved for. They replied with both. So, I PDF'ed the original approval email / letter and also PDF'ed my email thread with...

Did you have to put 15% of MSRP down as posted previously in this thread?

    Texas Hold Up!

Well, that didn't take long. VIN has already been assigned, only invited and configured early this afternoon. Pretty damn exciting.

I just got my invite. Ordered in store in Dallas as 2pm Central.

Where in Dallas did you get it done? I'm going to need to get mine done as well (some day).

FWIW: To help keep my insanity while I wait for my invite I regularly check the Model 3 Invites Google Sheet (LINK). The "Invites" tab shows a sample size of how many invites are sent out by day and from where. For yesterday's invites you can see most went to CA, but TX was second and Canada...

    Texas Hold Up!

I'm totally with you. As a line waiter I'm thinking I could be in the next big invite group, but day by day, page refresh after page refresh without any invite for me or big invite batches for others, so then it would mean it is getting closer for me, it is maddening (in a first world problem...

    Texas Hold Up!

I like the red, although I've only seen it in person on the X and S (assuming those are the same red). It definitely looks different depending on the lighting situation, but I like that too. Maybe someone in Dallas will get a Red one and I'll see it around before I get to configure.

    Texas Hold Up!

Yeah, I got there on my lunch break and the line was out into the outside area, but I only had to wait about 40 minutes. I thought it was going to take longer and almost left to order online later. That would have been a mistake.

Awesome. Thanks. Do you know what time the store started taking reservations? 10am?

    Texas Hold Up!

Did you reserve at North Park store? If so, what time? I reserved around 1:45pm and I'm trying to figure out what place in line that would have made me.
