I was indeed spraying cleaning fluid (standard from Tesla SC) in the video. Maybe heavy rain would yield the same effect and I would not want to try to reproduce this on a heavily rainy day.

I have immediately escalated this to Tesla. I don't think it's wipers causing the issue, rather the amount of fluid that passes suddenly in front of the cameras when using windshield cleaning, which is likely much more than what you get with rain.
