I was successful. I just bought salvage folding mirrors off eBay and do the wiring myself. I didn't even buy wiring harness. After the hardware and wiring installation, you gotta need to find someone who can enable it in the software.

I have it in my car. The leathers that are glued on the plastic on top drawer cover, they are now not glued to the plastic after a few months. I had to re-wrap leather and reapply glue to it. Stitchings along both side of the console does not match the Tesla original stitchings around the car...

Did it myself. No need any reconfiguration.

MCUs are not sim locked too. I'm using my country's carrier sim in my MS.

My car is the last car with zero tax in my country too. I know that feeling. I also have Tesla service account, I'll send you wiring diagrams when in get back home today.

I've done the mirrors myself too. It's fairly easy if you had previous experience working with cars or electronics. I did not change the harness though. Instead I cut the connectors and manually route two more wires to controller units. I haven't got the software to recognize folding mirrors yet...

how about wiring and software stuff, considering spot-welding is good to go? I checked the wiring diagrams, they seem to be same socket, same number of wires.

Here for your reference. If it is self-opening, microswitch is still good, you just need to adjust the screw to the height that it doesn't push the microswitch while motor is pushing the handle to self-present.

happened to me a few weeks ago. If you are handy, you can remove that door handle part and adjust the screw that press the door handle microswitch. quite easy actually.

By control units I mean this box attached insides the door panel. I have harness and folding mirrors but cannot find those. Maybe not needed to change them?

Hi, I have an imported 2013 MS P85 and my car don't have power folding mirror. I've collected the window switch and folding mirrors and the harness but cannot find the control units. The ones on the car is 1003101-00-C. Do I need to change them as well or they will work? And how do I enable it...

Hi, My friend's imported Tesla suddenly have many errors in the picture while driving up hill. I've tried to reset but they come back as soon as I try to drive. Smart air suspension isn't working too. Any idea what could be the problem? It's imported so no Tesla Service available in the region.

@bugout, you're not crazy. I can estimate cost of materials will be less than 100$. While I appreciate the effort on research and development, I'm not sure I could pay 500$ for such product. Sooner or later, someone else will do it and sell at cheaper price.
