+1 for the fob. I have to toggle airplane mode on my phone every time I want to use the phone key.

Absolutely, 100% covered by Tesla. More annoyingly is the service centres here have washed their hands of all 3 body work, so owners must deal with the body shops directly. It took repeated emails & calls to the body shop to even get to the point of having an appointment scheduled, and they...

I asked during delivery about mine and was told they are supposed to sit "over-flush" by some guy who came up from Fremont and works in the factory.

It might be worth noting that the micro USB that Tesla sells is reversible. I ordered one since I'm using a temporary phone that requires it until the next round of Pixels come out this year. That said, I'm not sure if my phone or the cable is the issue here, but it does not maintain a steady...

First time I went in got an ICE rental, a crappy Hyundai. Dropping my car off this week for bumper repaint and have been told it's another ICE in store. Not thrilled so far.

Just noticed today the door handle on my rear passenger side door is more recessed than others.. Starting to think that entire door assembly is a lemon (on my car).

Touch of Tint in Mississauga quoted me $500 + HST for sides and rear window in one piece with XPEL Prime XR SRS Tinting who I also spoke to quoted $350 + HST for sides & rear, but could not do the rear window in one piece. Told me it was impossible :rolleyes:

I had this and raised it when I took my car to the Mississauga service centre and they fixed it no questions asked. My left stock is exhibiting the same problem now so I will have them look at it next time I take it in.

Cars that cost $40 thousand (CAD) less have keyless entry, why do they need to "reserve" this feature for the S again?

Same as Kira, I put it in park not thinking about this possibility and it was fine. I've gone through 3 touchless washes since I took delivery.

I get this on the odd song, skipping fixes. Not consistently the same songs causing it either. I'm on 21.9

Top 2: Phone key Piano black material inside, scratches wiping it with the microfibre cloth provided. Going to be seeking a replacement from Tesla.

Happened to me too, turned it on and it wouldn't go off even after I turned off the easter egg. Had to reboot the MCU to fix it. Glad I wasn't driving when it happened.

Phone key seems to work as well as it did before.. That is to say extremely poorly. I have to toggle airplane mode every time I want into the car.

Went through a Petro touchless on the weekend, no issues.

Mine was in the trunk, never stuck on.

Just get a protector and wrap from @Kenriko off Amazon. It's not hard to DIY.
