I get this a lot after the Xmas software update, but it is often caused by the position of the sun hitting the left or right side of the car.

I wouldn't assume it is a like for like replacement; they're going to have to build up a surplus for replacements of current packs. You may get an upgrade to a 100, but I wouldn't expect them to replace my 75 with a new 150 or whatever size they come up with.

This is just wrong... my interior temp before tint would consistently trigger cabin overheat protection, but after tint, cabin overheat protection was hardly ever needed unless I parked in a freshly paved/sealed parking lot.

You have a 48A charger, same as I do in my June 2018 build.

There was not a 24A option after the switch the 48A standard chargers; all Model 3s and 75Ds have the 48A charger while the 100D/P100Ds have the 72A charger. You are not able to upgrade or choose the charger anymore.

Smart pre-conditioning works for me about 10% of the time, but the main issue with mine is that I rarely put work events in my calendar so there is no way for it to know about it. Additionally, I don't go to and from work anywhere near the same time everyday so it cannot learn that pattern.

This might sound crazy, but have you double checked that the connection between the UMC and the tail piece that plugs into the wall are fully plugged in? The first time I had to take my UMC with me and change the tail, I didn't get it fully plugged when I got back home and had a similar experience.

This! Just dropping down to 70mph from my typical 74mph easily saves me at least 3-5% in my 75D. Also if you have air suspension, set it to automatically lower around 60-65. Every % matters for that return leg.

For me, it wasn't about protection, but rather to not make cabin overheat work as hard and the ceramic tint definitely seems to help.

This is exactly my position... My wife and I don't have kids, we don't travel all over the country/world, and we have an affordable home so we were able to splurge on the S.

I'm in Georgia and I went the same route. After noticing the significant difference between previous car with tint to the S with no tint and then with ceramic tint, I had the same shop do the windshield.

2018 build with standard audio and it's plenty load enough for me on 4. I'd recommend checking your fade settings like someone previously mentioned before assuming it is a build issue.

Definitely check your state laws for colors and legal limits. I have 35% on front and back, but nothing on the windshield yet. The 35% I had done is sort of reflective which I like.

I have the 3D MAXpider ones as well. The rear comes folded in half so don't be surprised if there is a hump in the middle of the rear when you first put it in; after letting them sit in the warm car for a few days, they seem to fit perfectly.

That is incorrect. The car connects to the internet via WiFi just as any other wireless device and will use it for any internet activity (maps, streaming, browser). I initially had issues connecting to my WiFi as well. Make sure you're trying to connect to the 2.4GHz band. My router was setup...
