My M3 purchased in April only loses about 1-2miles/10 hours. I have checked my phone app and its disconnects overtime the phone is off. When I log back on it has to wake up. Don't know if that helps. I would suggest you leave it at your house charge it up and see how it does.

I will be looking into getting some of this material. I found very little wind noise but quite a bit of tire noise on rough surfaces. I live in Utah where we have many chip sealed roads. The resonating from the trunk makes sense. Please keep us informed of any new developments.

Thanks to everyone for their replies on the charging level. Since we rarely drive over 50 miles a day we can easily keep our 3 at 60-70% without any inconvenience. If we take a longer trip I can easily get a full charge overnight.
