Taking a gamble on the PCP MGFV vs terminating early and switching model

Ah I see. I worked out I'll cross the 50% line at month 36 but I had put a 15k deposit down at the beginning.

Taking a gamble on the PCP MGFV vs terminating early and switching model

Thanks for the clarity. Option 3 sounds most tempting. The other question is whether M3 will be truly rolled out at scale in 2019... I used to have a reservation but cancelled it after I got the MS unfortunately.

Locked out of car today doh!!!!!!

I've had a similar drama charging at Bristol services. I went to get some food, came back and realised that my fob was in the boot packed in a backpack for some reason. The doors wouldn't open and the app wouldn't connect because the car had no signal. I called Tesla and they couldn't connect to...

Taking a gamble on the PCP MGFV vs terminating early and switching model

Haha I know the feeling. I've done 32k miles in 18 months and I'm relying on being out of the country with work for 12 months within the PCP period so I don't go drastically over the mileage. All I do is a 500 mile round trip once a week and a bit of local driving on the weekend but I find...

Taking a gamble on the PCP MGFV vs terminating early and switching model

Hmm I think I need to become more au fait with the different options. Presumably I'd have to pay the settlement figure before selling it unless it can be done seamlessly with Richard Symons for example.

Taking a gamble on the PCP MGFV vs terminating early and switching model

I think the extra mileage makes the difference on mine. In all likelihood I'd end up exceeding the 60k limit by 10k or so which isn't ideal. It looks like he's the go-to for selling used Teslas and not too far away either so I'll definitely get in touch. Thanks.

Taking a gamble on the PCP MGFV vs terminating early and switching model

I had a look at private sales and listings at http://tesla-info.com/UK/inventory.html but you're right, the valuation at the end of the PCP will fall significantly short of private sales figures. It makes more sense to terminate at the end of the 3rd year and would be less hassle overall. I've...

Taking a gamble on the PCP MGFV vs terminating early and switching model

I've been keen to switch over from my Model S to a Model 3 when my PCP finishes at the end of 2020 but I've worked out I can do a voluntary termination at the end of 2019 and (perhaps optimistically) get a Model 3 then. I would then avoid any potential 50k+ mile warranty issues in 2020. My...

Direct Line won't cover me while I'm away - recommendations?

I'm currently insured with Direct Line, which was the only insurer to offer a reasonable price as I am 24. I'm due to be out of the country for about 6 months soon and Direct Line won't renew my insurance because I'll be away (I intend to leave the car with family). It's infuriating because...

Side skirt clips - how do they fit?

Yes, I had to pull the skirt out from the right side to get enough slack to force the the clip on the left to go underneath the metallic tab. Once they were all aligned that way, it didn't take much force to click them all back into place. Unfortunately the paint damage along most of the panel...

Side skirt clips - how do they fit?

I fixed it - I had to pull it out until I could get all 3 clips underneath the lips. One less thing to worry about!

Side skirt clips - how do they fit?

I managed to clip the rear side of my side skirt on the way out of a car park earlier today and some of the clips have popped out. I'd like to give it a whack back into place but I'm not sure which way they should line up. Does anyone know if the clips visible here should go above or below the...
