Cars cannot be built in open air. This could be the assembly robots being collected as they travel in... before final assembly is built.

Is there reason to believe that factory restarted after upgrades? I have not seen any article saying how they have improved since the upgrades, or if they have crossed the 6K/week target.

Talking of M3 colors, Black does not seem to be a multicoat . so from my perspective paying $1000 has some value. You are buying more coats of paint.

You need to have delivery profile incomplete, to see "Edit details". You can change the trade in to yes, and "Edit details" should come back. Following that, once it goes away and VIN shows up using the hack, you can switch the trade-in back to "no" HTH

Unless there is a assumption that high power cars will likely be driven at higher speeds, yes... But typical street driving, especially in bay area, where I am, speeds do not usually exceed much more than highway speeds. So I agree. No need for better brakes with higher performance.

Is it at VIN assignment, or at delivery complete. Now that some people have M3 VINs, wondering if you folks check if your car shows up in the App before SA calls.

That is right. Your current insurance covers you. I uploaded the copy of my insurance card and that was accepted.

No VIN assignment yet. even thru the store trick. 4/18 Invite, 4/20 config. Delivery profile is complete. I had called Tesla on Friday and over the phone they told me vehicle is in production, but no VIN yet. ISA was assigned though. He even gave me the name and to expect a call from 510 area...

I got invite on 4/18. Configured on 4/20. Email on Saturday put me in June delivery. So its not just the case between 4/18 or 4/19. There are some other factors in play. No VIN yet. Configured Multi coat Red, EAP, Aero wheels.
