Agreed, to me this is the most beautiful Model 3 option by far. It's the color to get if you like the look of the car, followed by the White / White option. I feel like the white seats make the car look larger and more open, and I've also had that comment from folks.

Yeah, I do wish the autopilot was a bit smoother. It's pretty aggressive in acceleration, and when it needs to slow down it reacts later than I'd like, and thus needs to slow down harder when it does.

I've found it's a bit more likely to get pulled out in front of. Quiet, plus unexpected speed means you will surprise people.

Silver really is the best color (with white seats and sport wheels), makes the Model 3 look very premium.

My delivery is next Friday, and finally my VIN popped up today. It seems to match what some forum members mentioned that it might be an automated process, updating the VIN 7 days before delivery.

In my experience they are lazy about updating the web site data, even if the car is waiting for you.

AWD demand is high. The art of the up-sell with Good-Better-Best pricing works folks. LR, AWD, P... Most will be sold on AWD as the best value.

Earlier posters mentioned white seats with 19" wheels. Those have to be AWD configs.

Were there any Metallic Silver, AWD, 19" models on the lot? Were most of the cars taken then?

Can we really predict this much from Troy's notebook? In my mind, the further we are out from day 1 reservation holders, the less % of people ordering M3s will be adding their data to the spreadsheet. It's probably a Zipfian distribution.

I've seen this video. The summon looks fine most of the time but isn't perfect at avoiding objects. Hits the owner at 7:10. Hits the camera at 8:40. Backing up, the car can't maneuver much and side swipes blocking objects, at 9:00.

I've seen three Silver M3s in one day, parked or on the freeway. They're out there.

Anything is possible I guess, but personally I find that fairly implausible. If assumptions are even slightly different, e.g. color batches are switched more than once per day, or one of the things you mentioned isn't part of the batch, then the rotation time would be significantly different...

There must be a shortage of 19" Sport rims or tires if they're already scheduling delivery of 4/8/18 reservations of AWD/White/Aero, ahead of line waiters with Sports.

$1k increase for AWD, $500 increase for paint, $200 increase for destination & doc. When they say a Tesla's value continues to increase after you buy it, I thought it was just the software ;-).

I changed my AWD order to white seats right after they became available, via the edit button. No change to delivery estimate, still Sep-Nov, and no charge to change since I didn't have a vin.

My theory is they're filling the most profitable orders first. My friend who should be behind me in the queue, both based on reservation and order date, got the new page before me. The only difference between our builds is he has EAP and I don't.

My friend reserved later than me (online rather than in-store), and ordered later than me, but already got the updated page ahead of me. Both AWD. Not a happy camper.

I don't have the new summary page yet, and my design is still editable. Day 1 in-store reservation, June 26th order, AWD, Silver, 19", no EAP.
