I've been doing the same. I've been contemplating other 3 row EVs and also the Gas/hybrid counterparts. There is no perfect car and you will always find a story with someone who had a lemon or a major issue with a car. I'll probably end up with an X in the end as well.

Yeah, it sucks. The advantage is supposed to be no dealerships to deal with, but their service centers seem to behave like them. I once had to drive 100 miles out to get my transmission replaced with Hyundai because the nearest dealership wouldn't warranty it.

Try a different service center. I've read people have bad experience at certain service centers vs. others.

I'm surprised there are no coilovers kit or standard shocks/springs to convert these cars to static suspension. It's the fix I see everyone do with bmw, Mercedes, etc when it eventually fails.

Why not replace the Palisade with the X? I think Palisades have been recalled for fire risks. I feel like this recall is same type of issue they did almost 10 years ago for their other cars (probably fuel line leak).

Hah, I feel this. I have a 3 and Y that have no issues. My 3 is 5 years old and Y is 2 years. I'm debating if I should sell my Y and get an X, but I'm still hesitant to do so.

A quick way to check brake drag is put your hand near the wheels after a drive, it would feel hot/warmer than the others.

What a horrible experience. I guess the good part is they agreed to buy it back and didn't stall several months. My friend had to go the lemon route with Chevy for his Z06. The process took so long, he put 40K miles on it and they bought it back in full lol.

If these are entire assemblies, it'll take 2-3hrs to install. If you're quoted longer get a new tech, you're being ripped off.

19 or 20 have the same tire diameter, so either will work. Depends which look you want. I don't know why Tsportline is using 245/50/R18 when 235/55/R18 is closer to stock diameter.

Did you check wheel bearing? Car is too new, but maybe you got a defective part.

I only use auto open. Everyone mentioning sensors is correct. If sensors are too low, it'll only sense the wheels, therefore leaving the middle of your car open for the garage closing on it.

I know, I have MPP comfort coils right now. I'm wondering if the ohlins might ride better. My wife still complains about the comfort coils set to 14/14 all around.

Maybe check redwood motorsports instructions. Their custom kits are built from ohlins shocks, so it may be put together the same. I have MPP coils, so not sure about the ohlins.

I'm almost at 5 months from just charging my battery up with no more errors. Several updates and even had the car sit for over 2 weeks not driven. Mine is the v2, bought last year June 2021.

Curious if anyone ordered the wheels from them with different tire size. 235/55 is closer to stock diameter than 245/50. 235/55 also seems to have more XL tires selection and slightly cheaper.

Do you have a battery charger you can put it on for a few hours? It might be worth trying. For reasons I don't understand, that worked for me (so far). I haven't had the errors come back in about 3 months and several updates.

I should clarify. 6 weeks of no errors after charging the battery on a charger and doing the hard reset procedure. Also nightdown_fox said he got the error with the module and new battery, so the module may not have fixed the issue.

That's disappointing to hear. I'm approaching week 6 of recharging my battery and doing a hard reset. It survived 1 update so far. I haven't received the new 8.2 update yet, but I have a feeling it may break the streak. I don't drive my car a lot, maybe 3-4 times a week for less than 50 miles.
