    Supercharger - Richmond, KY

I was driving through the area and took these pictures today. I didn’t ask the workers if this was Tesla related but based on the work and location, I think it is.

    Supercharger - Richmond, KY

Jumping the gun a little on this but I stopped in last week. As I was checking out, I asked the cashier where the Superchargers were because I read they were supposed to be getting them. The cashier stated, the store manager just updated the staff on them. They are supposed to be getting 32...

Hopefully this install crew heads north on 26 to Spartanburg next!

Delivery Kicked Another 4 Months (minimum) At Least. Long Range Ordered X Ordered Last Summer.

I’m back to a 6/23 to 7/14 delivery window now… Anyone else seeing this?

Supercharger - Hilton Head, SC - William Hilton Parkway

This one will definitely make it easier to top off coming in or out of Hilton Head if your place doesn’t have charging. I’m still holding out hope one magically appears on 26 around Spartanburg. That would be a big help to a lot of travelers.

You scooped me on this one! I just saw it while here on vacation.

3G data - Abandoned by Tesla?

I would just use the hotspot on my phone if LTE is overloaded in your area. I don't personally see LTE being obsoleted anytime soon. LTE speeds are ≠10 times faster than 3G and once the old 3G towers are updated that will help bandwidth for the frequency. Our vehicles don't really need speeds...

    Model S Plaid - 6 Months Later

Thanks for the detailed update! How much range have you lost so far due to battery degradation?

Refreshed 2021+ Model X and Model X Plaid waiting room

Here is a pic of a test mule Model X I saw a couple months ago. Unfortunately, it doesn’t appear to have the armrest/wireless console like the S.

    Supercharger - Adairsville, GA

They may not be hosting them now but it must be on their radar. The press release for their new location in Sevierville, TN stated it would have electric vehicle charging stations. I really don't understand why they wouldn't want them. Their stores would work really well with travelers...

    Supercharger - Adairsville, GA

I’m glad this charger is coming online as it’ll make my trips back to Knoxville way easier. That said, I’m bummed it didn’t end up at the Buc-ees in Adairsville, GA.

    Supercharger - Marietta, Ga

I’ll be happy with either location on that exit. It would probably be easier to add them at Buc-ee’s during the building construction though. Either option would save me 20 minutes of charging time compared to Acworth. Are building permits and plans available online for Calhoun?

    Supercharger - Marietta, Ga

My guess is the new Buc-ee’s in Calhoun, GA gets it. It appears the Buc-ee’s will open during Q2 which lines up with Tesla’s estimate. The Adairsville/Calhoun charger will help me a lot traveling north to Knoxville. It’s a long charge in Acworth to avoid Chattanooga.

November 10 Price Changes Get Refund?

My owner advisor sent me a text yesterday stating the price adjustment would happen when I picked my vehicle up. My delivery is still a couple weeks away though. For reference, I have a 100D 5 seater with white and carbon interior on order.

    Help me understand

I’m going to be traveling from Knoxville, TN to Gulf Shores, AL in a Model X 100D. Both Tesla maps and A Better Route Planner have me stopping in Chattanooga for a charge 90 miles in. In my mind the better option is to leave fully charged and drive to the Steele, AL supercharger. It’s 200...

Future Depreciation of Model X in the next 2-5 years

It’s hard to predict the future but if you look back at the last 5 years till now battery technology in the form of capacity, power and charging has increased substantially. LG/Panasonic does have a roadmap for battery development and if I’m not mistaken they plan for the next jump to be around...

Elon Musk on The Joe Rogan Experience

I’m excited for this!! I’ve just recently started getting into Joe Rogan’s podcasts. The worst part is, I’m on the east coast and deciding if I want to stay up till 3am watching it live....

Are you in the military? If so, most lenders will not allow Gap due to current legislation.

Future Depreciation of Model X in the next 2-5 years

I don’t think anyone doesn’t expect basic scaled depreciation. My concern is for extreme depreciation due to big jumps in battery chemistry and range improvements. I do agree the loss of the $7,500 federal incentive will help assuming we don’t see it reimplemented.

Thanks for the pics. Any chance you have a pic of the floorboard with the black carpet and how it blends together?

My New X is here, pre collection taster...

Ugh.... you’re making me question my last decision before ordering of cream or white interior with the midnight silver. Good luck and I hope you enjoy your X!!

Future Depreciation of Model X in the next 2-5 years

Increased range is the biggest fear for me. The X is such a nice and comfortable vehicle but limiting it to 300 miles scares me. If Tesla goes to 2170 cells and another 20-30kw I’m afraid our values will drop considerably.

1UP bike rack with 4 bikes barely fits for Supercharging

I’m looking at the 1 Up rack currently but in only the 2 bike form. Based on this I’m feeling more positive about being able to supercharge with it attached. Anyone have experience with the 2 bike setup and superchargering?

New Model X Configuration and Pricing

P.S. How do I edit a comment? Is this a restriction for a new member and if so, how long do I have to wait?

New Model X Configuration and Pricing

You are correct in basic terms. Tesla will log more detailed information to NHTSA (I'm not sure about Australia) for each VIN. This is why auto dealers, insurance companies carfax and others can pull specific information about your vehicle with just the VIN. Try this link with your VIN and...

New Model X Configuration and Pricing

As crazy as this sounds, the VIN matters just as much as actual production. A VIN has universal decoders in it for production country all the way down to options.

Should I wait for Model X Refresh???

I agree!! I’m leaning towards Midnight Silver with sonic carbon wheels and the white interior.

Should I wait for Model X Refresh???

I drive 36,000 to 40,000 miles a year in my company car. I'm very experienced with having my butt in the seat for a long time on a daily basis. :)

Should I wait for Model X Refresh???

I'm in the same situation. I know for 95% of the time the 100D is more than enough range but when I'm towing or on a road trip having another 30 to 70 miles would be nice and allow for less supercharging stops.
