I believe it applies to everyone who ordered a 6 seater. At least there is some movement from Tesla.

I'm debating taking a 6-seat if they offer it at this point. The rear bench is important to stretch out on long trips while charging, if necessary, and you get better resale with the 7-seat. I'm torn because I have a large dog with car anxiety that likes to sit on the car floor (it feels more secure than on the bench), however, so a 6-seat would be better for him.

My guess is no...which would be a dealbreaker because that's a rough equivalent of having a car/hatchback without folding rear seats. I'm getting an SUV for the utility, not to haul people in comfort.

We do not. Unfortunately we probably won't find out until some deliveries are made and reviews start pouring in.

no, no one has definitive details on how the 2nd and 3rd row seats work now.

From early videos of them spotted in public, the 2nd row of the 7 seater still looks exactly the same as pre-refresh in terms of seat function. It didnt look like it had an armrest nor wireless charging or that the center could fold down.

Possible that the production version would have changes but I would operate under the assumption it is like pre-refresh

Since nobody has answered I am going to take a stab at answering this question.

I do not believe so but we'll see.

Im going to guess that there is no rear arm rest due to the ability for the rear seats to tilt. I imagine there would be much more engineering involved to figure out how to have the arm reset tilt correctly according to the seat tilt.

I don't think so because if you look at some footage people took inside the model x plaid at the model s plaid delivery event the rear seats look the same except for the rear screen.

Hopefully they update the manual on the website soon so a lot of our questions can be answered.... Didn't they update the Model S manual right before the first deliveries?

Tesla likes to update their cars at any time. They refreshed the interior of the Y like the week after I got it.

Something is definitely starting to happen! My account has a January EDD after being blank since Labor Day weekend. Order details are LR, Blue, Cream, 22" and 5 seats. Previous EDD's were May-June, August, October, Blank and now January. Hopefully that is January 2022 and not later...
