Actually, very easy if your care has the precut and predrilled placeholders and holes, which supposedly most after 2015, do have. Yes the additional bumper is critical, my service center ordered me one and will fit it. The seat itself I did myself.

I just kept their buzzer unplugged. Also with kit I bought YOU HAVE TO cut off those bulky connectors and just splice/twist the wire back together with positaps or shrink tubes.

YES...at least the one I got (autoease), there is NO WAY You can route the cables cleanly without cutting, but don't worry its not hard. I would try any other way, it took me 2 days and a lot of angst before I realized that I had to CUT.
