HELP!! We are stranded in Pullman, WA!

The charger at the hotel we were using was a ChargePoint I believe, and required an app. Maybe they could write a nag function into their app that if your car is plugged in more than 12 - 18 hours, an alarm starts going off, perhaps with a verbal message about sharing the charger. Maybe a...

Bellevue Location no longer doing deliveries?

I was reading on this a little as we just bought a used 3 out of state, and I think this is the way it is designed (the state laws, not tesla software) to work. Not ideal for sure, but those are the rules.

HELP!! We are stranded in Pullman, WA!

I saw a number of years ago someone had posted a picture of I think a frisbee that they had placed on their dash, and it had places for basic contact info, and a note to contact them if someone else needed a charge. I've looked for it since and have not been able to find it. I think giving...

    Supercharger Voting

I think you've hit on an interesting point here. It would be interesting to know where people are *not* going with their teslas. i.e. using the Tesla app, track where people are traveling while in another vehicle but not in their tesla. I would think that would be insanely useful for...

Does ABRP know about the Seattle/Bainbridge ferry?

abrp has been awesome, but I cannot help but feel that it has gone downhill in the last year or so, at least for me. It's range calculations used to be very accurate, and I loved the ability when it used google maps to drag and drop on the map to alter a route, basically point and click...

    Supercharger Voting

I was wondering that myself. I suspect that they will break it up by region/unit, and use the votes to rank on that level maybe. I doubt there will be a requirement for them to build to the vote, but it will give them an idea of demand (or what people think they want). Seeing the votes for...

    Supercharger Voting

Pretty interesting (maybe "telling" should be the word) that we are all suggesting similar places. I suggested Twisp (didn't see how to suggest more than one?), and voted for I believe McCall ID, one in Oregon, a couple of National Parks in Utah, and finally Montana near Glacier.

    Supercharger Voting

If you're more like me and tend to lurk on this topic only, you may have missed that voting is open for supercharger locations. After signing in to your tesla account and selecting your five choices, you can also make a suggestion for the next round of voting. Here's your chance to vote for...

    20" Model X Slipstreams on a 2022 Model S Long Range?

Curious as well - the numbers appear to indicate they would work, would like to hear it from someone else first though.

    Orcas Island with a Tesla

No personal information, but plugshare.com lists about four sites on Orcas. It looks like Rosario has two chargers.

    Supercharger - Spokane, WA

I already feel like I don't have enough room to backup and charge in an S (looking at you leavenworth), not sure how this will work. Definitely forget about getting into the rear hatch while charging. Like some of you, I'm leaning towards the "mistake" category.

East Pierce/South King County Nav Issues

When was your eMMC replaced? Does it happen on any other longer drives (could be a good excuse for a road trip)? I suspect the GPS is getting the correct location, but it is something to do with the display/logic. Was the screen upgraded from your old one? My wifes S hasn't had these issues...

    South King County Electrician

Micah with ELEMENT | northwest PLLC installed ours about three years ago. I have used him for other jobs as well, and he's always done a great job. I believe he's out of Covington, so he isn't far away. His # 425.442.6657

Small world - Maple Valley. I'm used Enumclaw as well (MV was busy).

A/C issue and possibly defogging issues

Did you get any resolution from your appointment? I'd love to hear what they told you. We were recently driving over Bluett Pass in our S when like you, our windows fogged up completely and we had to pull over. Playing with the HVAC controls to see if we could find a more efficient defog...

Seattle area -- New tires -- where to install?

I actually looked around a bit, and finally ended up at the local Les Schwab. Les Schwab is limited I find sometimes in their tire choice, but we ended up with the Continental ExtremeContact, and I'm pretty happy with them. They definitely grip better than the stock tires, especially in...

    Snoqualmie Pass

If you're really nervous about it, you can game it out a bit by using a trip planning website such as A Better Routeplanner Regarding Leavenworth, we left there this evening starting at about 85% charge, and just arrived home with about 35% charge left (south of Seattle). Like Kuhz says, it's...

    Rear hatch speakers

Please forgive the dumb question, but I might be losing my marbles. Where are the rear hatch speakers located on a UHF Model S (Dec 2019)? A few nights ago my Wife and I were in the car, generally complaining about the lack of an immersive experience with the sound in our Model S. Shoving...

Supercharger - Vancouver, WA - NE Vancouver Mall Drive

Looking at your picture, I like that layout so much better than a straight back in. 1) It encourages people to enter from one direction, making it obvious at a busy location where the line should form. 2) There appears to be much more slack on the charging cable than I typically see. 3) I'm...

Model X: Heavy Towing over Time

Regarding a weight distribution hitch, I would double-check the owners manual first, though I would guess it is not a problem. There are a few unibody vehicles on the market with manuals that specifically state you are not to use a weight distribution hitch. The way they work is they literally...

Supercharger - Cle Elum, WA (LIVE Dec 2018, 12 V2 stalls)

My Wife and I just drove through on Wednesday, and back again today. We very much enjoyed the stop, thank you. I don't know if you make your gluten free muffins on site, or buy them, but they are awesome. Those alone would throw me to Cle Elum for charging if I had to make a choice. Thanks!

    Enumclaw Supercharger- Any News?

I saw yesterday that the Enumclaw charger is still on the Tesla "coming soon" map. There are a few others that I sincerely hope they install before putting one in Enumclaw. I was convinced it would be removed once Auburn was completed - although maybe that map is rarely updated.

    Supercharger - Forks, WA

It actually looks like a generator inlet box, and shouldn't be supplying power. Your guess is as good as mine though if that is the way it is actually wired. Reliance Controls 30 Amp Power Inlet Box-PB30 - The Home Depot

    Initiative 976

I was so conflicted on this initiative. I live out in the Enumclaw / Maple Valley area, and the roads out here have seen pretty much zero expansion in capacity in the last 30 years. Yeah, they've added a lane in places to 169, i.e. the four-corners area of Maple Valley, but that does nothing...

Has anyone seen the model Y in WA yet?

I'm 99% sure this is one at the Centralia supercharger. https://electrek.co/2019/10/21/tesla-model-y-next-model-3-hatch/

    Supercharger - Vancouver, WA

We were actually here a few weekends ago, and had to move twice to get a charge. The first attempt, one on of the #3 circuits maybe(?), gave me a red charge light and did nothing. Moved to I believe one on 6, and that one was completely was dead. Moved again before success. At the time the...

    Supercharger - Spokane, WA

Yakima would be *huge* when east bound towards Tri-Cities or beyond. When we leave the Maple Valley area Cle Elum is almost too close to really get an efficient charge (time vs return), and Ellensburg can be risky, though we have tended to luck out. Yakima would be so nice to have. Like you...

    Supercharger - Ellensburg, WA

We hit Ellensburg twice this weekend, once on Friday eastbound, and then on Saturday evening heading back home. At about 12:15pm on Friday there were two spots available when we arrived, and things were okay. On the return on Saturday though all stalls were full and the two cars on the end...

    Supercharger - Ellensburg, WA

There is a lot of unused real estate off of Railroad Ave, that'd be a great place to check. Being "downtown", there would be quite a bit to do as well.

    Supercharger - Olympia, WA

Twice in the last six months, once in snow and ice in December, and the second time in much warmer weather this Spring, I tried a few different planning apps for two different trips. Both times I had the impression using them that evtripplanner should give me better results, as it seems to ask...
