I did not. It got real angry. 😂 After hardware swap and install, I immediately started the update. After it was done, all errors cleared. EDIT: PS. Putting the actual trim pieces back together, CORRECTLY, took twice as long as removing it. That was the bulk of time spent.

The file-system has to be formatted FAT32, AFAIK. It cannot be ExFAT or NTFS. Windows will "hide" FAT32 as a file-system type if the partition is over 32GB I believe if using the Windows-native file formatter. You have to use a 3rd party software in order to format the partition FAT32 in that case.

Musk's tweet confirmed that EAP folks who currently have the $2,000 USD option for FSD will revert back to $4,000 USD on Monday. So you have now until then to decide.

IIRC from people who have had this issue, it should calibrate itself after a bit of driving. If it doesn't, call support. It might require a quick service visit to fix.

Sounds about right. The biggest drop I see in range reduction (from all the factors mentioned previously) is usually from 60F to 50F. Once you're under 50F, you start taking a large penalty.

I wish it was 100 miles each way, 200 miles round-trip, but alas, it's a little over 50 miles each way and about 90 minutes in freeway traffic. EAP was a requirement when I ordered my Model 3 and makes the commute much more bearable to the point it was actually a huge quality of life improvement...

I told Tesla about this exact issue. They told me the fix was to drive at night instead. /s ;)
