Looks like this site has already suffered from some of the charge cables being cut.

Quick update- they have been doing electrical work all week. Still no transformer, but the pedestals seem to be all put back together and ready to go. Hopefully we'll see a transformer soon. The other Tacoma sites all got their transformer's pretty quickly, some before most of the other...

Everything is put back together and no activity today. It looks ready to go, but still no meter yet.

A lot going on at this site today. There are three Tesla workers on site and a lot of other workers. The cabinets are all open as are the pedestals. Hopefully this is a sign that it's getting close and not a sign of problems.

i didn't see them unpacking the boxes, but it certainly seems that it is 4 per box.

No work has been done on this site in about a week, but there was what I believe was a Tesla worker inspecting the site this morning.

I drive by about three times a week. Nothing has been done in weeks. I haven't looked closely enough to see if there is a meter. I will look next time.

Paving is complete. They are building a wall around the equipment area.

Some of the equipment has been installed on the pad.

They have now mostly covered the pedestal bases. That made it easier to see what is going on. It looks like the stalls are all back in except for the last three (the ones closest to REI). There are again a lot of workers on site today, so hopefully they will make more progress.

The pad is poured. They are back on site doing more work this morning.

They have put in a lot of the conduit and made progress on the base area for the transformer and other equipment.

After a couple of days with no activity, there was a conduit delivery this morning and a lot of construction workers on site.

They have installed a cement base, possibly for the transformer. Otherwise, they have just been working on trenching and moving equipment around.

The building plans linked to in the first post show it as being on the top of the structure/8th floor.

Hoping for V4, but also hoping for no long delay for pedestals. Any word on whether Tesla is catching up on their V4 pedestal backlog?

No problem. I didn't mean to sound snarky. I know that it is easy to miss some posts. I was just trying to point you to something that you could look at to see the type of container.

There is a container, as shown in my picture above, but I have not yet seen it open. So, I haven't seen any equipment yet.

Trenching has begun. A large crew on site this morning.

The digging equipment moved into the fenced area while I was there. They have begun to cut the pavement. Is this enough for the construction cone?

I took some this morning but they were really just of them putting up the early sections of fencing. I will go by at lunch and try to take some.

They are putting up fencing now and there is a backhoe on site.

While the various companies have not been updated on the dig ticket, I can confirm that a lot of them have been to the site and done their markings. They should be ready to go next week.

I finally found the lines. I really don’t think these were here before. I have looked several times. The lines are actually on the church side if the upper lot/drive (behind the Half Price Books). The arrows point to the West side of the drive. So, I am still assuming that the stalls...

I went over during lunch. I still can't figure out for sure where the lines are. There are some old looking lines around the upper entrance. There is a Lewis Crutcher vehicle parked there now. I'm not sure if it's related or not. There is also a utility truck between Verizon and Red Robin...

Looking at the description on the dig ticket, I still think it could be in the upper lot (behind the half priced books). The West side of that lot would make sense since that is where the existing utility vaults are. I will head back up there at lunchtime to see if I see anything.

I don't remember seeing any signs along the drive area saying church parking only. The parking to the right, near the church, is definitely signed as church parking only, but I don't think that the rest is. People going to REI definitely park there.

Tacoma power guys just showed up, parked by the above marked spot, looked around, then walked back behind half price books.

I hope that's not the location. It is constantly crowded (there are already 5 cars parked there this morning) and the turn off from Steele/Tacoma Mall Boulevard gets backed up there. It would get worse with Teslas backing into spots to charge. Also, there is no electric vault there while there...

They repaved the parking lot entrance closest to the charging stalls today. Still no sign of pedestals.

Very minor update: the fencing has now been removed. Still no sign of pedestals.
