mine only rattled when it was upright. It also felt really loose when moving the seatback side to side. Once I fixed that it eliminated the rear seat noise and made the car enjoyable to drive again. That bushing is a poor design and should be revised.

The second part in this video fixed my problem. The bushing that he shows slid off the same way on mine. You have to remove the rear seat back to be able to fix it, but it’s worth the effort.

This doesn’t surprise me. I just returned a carbon fiber dashboard replacement that they sold to me as new. I don’t think even Tesla would say that it was “within spec.” Gaps and misalignments abound. I will be avoiding them in the future for sure.

CP/AA do not have to take over the interface. It could be implemented as part of the entertainment section of the Tesla interface. In fact it is not even capable of full screen in some cars with larger displays. See attached image of a Volvo touch screen for reference.

This is exactly my thought. Everything is so rushed, disorganized and hyped that it's difficult to know what to do. My delivery would probably be Dec. which puts it right before winter where I would have to contend with snow/sand/salt and poor charging etc. with my brand new car.
