I'd like to believe it is broken in the model 3 as well, as I can't fathom an engineering decision to design it this way. The volume is bonkers. Fingers crossed they revert back to summer 2019 settings.

This one is a head scratcher as the bluetooth audio functionality is pretty terrible in its current form. Anyone have an idea why Tesla fixed something that wasn't broke? What is the advantages of the current setup? I seriously can't think of any.

If there were dollies on the front wheels its likely fine. I believe Tow mode is for pulling onto a flatbead.

Tesla adjusted the base numbers when they gave a free boost. That's the performance numbers they wanted to publish, so everyone gets it for free. This $2k update is a performance option, plain and simple. This likely denotes the end of the free speed updates.

I think it got us from stock original 4.5 seconds down to 4.2 (verified by many testers). So I'd say that we are moving from 4.2 to 3.9 (or better) with this boost.

First stoplight dual I lose, that money will fly out of my wallet :). One year later, that has yet to happen.

Yeah I tried that pretty quickly, but, it seemed that the previous brake-actuated "hold" function would not engage. I've used the hold feature so long that I don't even think about it... which means I may forget its not active anymore. So I set it back to 1-pedal mode. Does the hold function...

Well that's disappointing... I can modulate brakes for stopping better than a computer. I am beginning to think I want the old mode back.

Just had the same thing. I can see my car windows are closed though, not vented like the app was showing. I then hit the close window button and nothing happened of course, pressed it again and the windows vented. So yeah this could alarming should we start getting alot of rain, lol.

Get HVAC filters replaced then I recommend leaving cabin overheat protection on fan only (or off). Always use fresh air setting (re-circulation off - check this every time you drive as it resets to recirc sometimes). Its a fairly well known issue - Telsa -- Are you going to address torturing...

At some point I read an update was coming that would include the ability to actuate home-link via the phone app. Did that ever happen or is that not a thing?

I have a August 2018 build whatever that HW is. Our Autopilot/TACC is unusable on the highways as it just slams on the brakes every minute or so for shadows and cars that change lanes. I now only use TACC on slower city roads where the car can't crack my neck with deceleration. Which is exactly...

Yep same here, and it doesn't always seems to be related to heat. Car can be in our cool garage, open the door, and it will sound like its about to do a vertical takeoff. We also leave the A/C on AUTO. Would be nice if they could get that tamed a bit.

When you pick up your car don't confuse the charge level (which will be shown as something like "253 miles") as the odometer. It happens.

So the car does know when someone is in the backseat as it toggles the backseat airflow accordingly. Seems they could implement this for the alarm system to avoid this situation. (unless its a premium interior only feature) BTW, it happens when someone is in the front as well. My wife sets it...

If you let someone into the car via the app (say your kid forgets a book) you can watch the car in the app and it will show the door opening and closing. Awesome.

For what it is worth, I am perceiving less throttle tip in from a stand still. It seems the first inch or so of throttle travel has less acceleration than on previous software versions. Could account for efficiency increase I suppose (if its a thing).

Never follow trucks of any kind for long distances. The tread on their tires and high ground clearance make them prime rock hurdlers. Make a move to get out from behind them ASAP.

Mike, I'm in RTP (crazy hot/humid lately) and mine also started doing this a few software updates ago. It can do it at start-up or shut-down. It sounds like a fan spinning up with an almost out of balance vibration frequency somewhere in the middle of that spool-up, and tops out crazy loud...

I would expect a software fix would involve running the A/C on fresh air setting for a few moments before it turns completely off. I have been doing this manually before I arrive at my destination and it seems to eliminate the problem.

My Iphone X site much lower than it did with the Nomad. Id say there is roughly an inch more height clearence vs the Nomad pad. Quick review - I like it better than the Nomad. It looks stock. The material though close, looks more premium and doesn't seem to be collecting residue like the Nomad...

Any time I change lanes while using TACC my car brakes about 10 mph for no reason. Not ideal when your changing lanes in front of someone. I would turn TACC off and go with dumb cruise if I could.

True that! I don't think I want the lane departure nuisances I've been reading about. I'll stick with 2019.12.1.2 until they get that ironed out.
