    75D battery degradation

I have a June 2018 75D with 22K and I do about 50/50 home and SC. I have been at about 241 miles since about 15K. It hasn't really moved since - I suspect it plateaus there and the degradation really slows down at that point. I think I have 70 usable based on adding 50% adds 35kWh.

    75D battery degradation

    I hit 105 for a few minutes today (I was at 22% at the time). 2018 75D 22K

    75D battery degradation

    I agree - I don't think I ever got 259. It's an ideal that is not realistic.

    75D battery degradation

I'm at about 22K and I have been at 241.25 (estimate based on 193 at 80%) for about a year now, so it seems to plateau around 15K. Adding 50% to my charge adds 35kWh so I believe I'm at 70 kWh usable. I don't know if I have lost 5 kWh because I don't know if the pack was truly 75 at delivery. It...

    75D battery degradation

I have the same car built June 2018. I have experienced exactly the same thing with Smartcharge and my charging behavior is similar. I think it's normal - 5% early and then it really tapers off. I have been at about 242 for at least a year now.

    75D battery degradation

They seem to plateau at around 15K. I have been at around 242 for a year now. It seems to be the normal break-in for the battery.

    75D battery degradation

I'm at about the same with a 2018 June build 75D at 20K. I think it plateaus there and really slows down over the next 100K.

    Excess vampire drain

2018 MS 75D 20K - So I've noticed that the last two times I parked the car away from home I lost quite a bit of range each day. The first time I was parked at Laguardia Airport over Thanksgiving. I rolled in at about 45% on Thursday morning (I know I should have charged first but *sugar* happened)...

    75D battery degradation

I think it's normal. 5% loss the first 15,000 and another 5% over the next 150,000. The problem is the 259-mile rating is fictional, the cars are actually closer to 250.

    75D battery degradation

This is normal range - the 259 rating was a maximum possible range and was in my view fiction. I think the real range was closer to 250; you lose about 5% breaking in the battery pack in the first 15K miles. You should be fine but don't charge to 100% - everything I've read says that over 80%...

    75D battery degradation

I'm about the same on a 2018 MS with 18,000 miles. I am estimating from 80% (I never charge to 100).

    75D battery degradation

How do you get to that display? I've never seen it on my car.

    75D battery degradation

I think the 5% at the first 15K and 5% for the next 150K is a good guide. Maybe 6 or 7%?

    75D battery degradation

75D bought new June 2018; I'm at almost 19,000 miles and the battery just recently went from "100%" to "95%" per SmartCharge. I get about 245 miles since I started checking a few months ago compared to the 259 Tesla had displayed when I picked her up. I do however wonder if she ever really got...

    Ideal SOC for limited driving

Thats awesome and encouraging. It seems that Tesla is doing something different and it defies established rules of li-ion batteries.

    Ideal SOC for limited driving

Hi friends! I bought a new MS 75D in June 2018 and to date have about 8,500 miles on her (a lot for me - but I've been enjoying the ride and drove a lot this summer!). I have done a lot of reading and research on the battery, charging, etc., and after initially charging to 90+ percent I have...
