Got text saying delivery between 12/20-12/26. Got text this morning for delivery at MDR on 12/12. Will have to scramble to get my loan finalized. Called the 888 number and they emailed my MVPA to me.

Did you did one of those edit emails that went out on 10/30? I have you same order, same location ordered on 10/18 with a reservation and my delivery window is ten days after yours. Feels like that edit email really did move our spots.

I drove by the marina del Rey delivery center this afternoon. It was surprisingly empty. Thought I’d see more cars and trucks with cars. Didn’t see anyone outside even really. Looked pretty quiet.

I feel like reservations still count. Of the LA deliveries, it seems like only day one people or owners. My reservation was 4/13/16 and I haven’t heard anything.

In LA, ordered 10/18. Still waiting. It’s tough looking at the excel spreadsheet and seeing my name with the longest wait days next to it.

I’m a SoCal reservation holder but from 4/13/16, seems like they are still prioritizing owners and day one reservation holders. I haven’t seen a SoCal nonreservation holder get a delivery date yet. If that happens though, then I’ll start getting worried. I saw 12-13 car carriers going south on...

Another data point showing that Tesla is just holding CA deliveries in their back pocket, pushing cars to the east coast. Definitely seems like location is number one factor, then reservation, then configuration.

I emailed Tesla referrals about this and although people on Twitter said they got both, they told me the $100 credit was only for performance orders.

In LA, I ordered 10/18 but reserved 4/13/16. This is a good data point to see if order date or reservation date matters more.

Seems like only day 1 reservation Holders are getting delivery dates for west coast orders.

im So Cal also and haven’t heard anything. Seems like they are delaying the California deliveries until after east coast as they can get the cars to us quickly when they want to.

As a west coast 10/18 waiter, I hope you are right. Once the VINs start coming in we should be getting a better picture of how they are processing the orders.

The overseas part is for model s and x only. As for 3s, with the deadline looming, it makes sense to ship the farther sales first to make sure it gets there in time. Margin of error for delivery is much tighter compared to delivering a car to some one in Bay Area or LA.

It didn’t copy over the emojis but it said at Tesla they make cars for overseas and east coast in first half of quarter.

Elon just tweeted this “#’s r wrong, but in Tesla makes s 4 overseas & East Coast in 1st half of quarter” Sounds like for California people waiting, myself included, cars for us won’t start until mid November

Same happened to me, was 10/18 and now it says 10/30. But it does show I have a referral code so that seems promising.

I thought you guys put 55 as the clean version so you didn’t have to put your real vin. So are you saying that by chance your actual vin turned out to end in 55?

I have so many questions. How did you find out? Did they call you?
