Just wanted to say thanks for posting this. This makes me feel a lot better. I’ve slowly gotten use to it after 18 months.

One thing to watch out for: check inside your vents after the dash is replaced. There is a grill in there. Mine is super crooked now.

Just wanted to say that I’ve been using the new fob since Thursday. 100% success rate. I like the car so much more now.

Isn’t not including the fobs just cost cutting? The S and X still come with them (I think). Hell, they got rid of HomeLink to save money.

Funny I was going to post about this today. Definitely me not having my butt down far enough in the seat. They should fix this in software. Don’t shut off the screen immediately when the door is closed. Wait 1 second then check seat sensor.

Just curious why everyone saying this is overpriced? It seems similar to the other competing front license plate frames and better designed. I just ordered one.

So on the positive side this got rid of the purple lines in my backup camera that I’ve had since Sept of 2018. The bad news is that it is more out of focus (less sharp) and there is still some weird effects (some headlights look weird, shadows on the ground while driving can get pink flashes)...

Can anyone clarify what the "unique inverter" they are talking about in the article? That doesn't make sense since various people had AWD model 3s flashed to P3D- cars.

Some comments on reddit are saying the new P3D- cars don't include track mode or a higher top speed. That would be an interesting differentiator.

I'll be super sad that I didn't wait if you can actually get 18" wheels with the Brembo brake calipers. The 20" wheels is what stopped me from getting the PUP package last year even though I wanted the brake calipers.

Just FYI, back when you could get a P3D-, it was $10K more than an AWD Model 3.

I took mine in and they confirmed the sound during a test drive. After keeping it a week they confirmed the sound is coming from the front drive unit. They won't replace it though since they claim it's not a "mechanical" issue and their diagnostic tests passed on the unit. Suck.
