I use Keemut and its pretty much similar to Teslafi.

I believe these are measuring different things and labeled the same. I use Keemut.com which is pretty much spot on with Teslafi, but they give more features such as valuation, and can connect my Ford just like Tesla with their app.

One thing that they might be doing is having multiple levels of authorization as well. Right now both reading and sending commands are available, but these could be under different levels of security.
