I’ve changed the name in my car, but neither the Tesla app or the TezLab app have adopted the cars name. I’ve rebooted the car and reset the apps but no change. Any ideas on how to fix this..?

I’m collecting my car on Friday (3rd) from the Trafford Centre, they told me the cars are delivered “just in time” so either late Wednesday or first thing Thursday. Not sure where they are coming from though.

Looks very nice. Which SuC did you stop at and I assume it charged ok (some say the first charge is free if the app/car hasn’t been activated)..? Does the bonnet not have a safety catch to stop it flying up once it’s been opened..? Seems a safety issue if it happened while driving.

Exactly this, you can see/feel the PPF. Quite thick and should do a good job. Shame about the paint above though..!

Same here, my bank (Nationwide) allows 10k per transaction, so I've been doing it every half hour. It seems to take about 30mins for it to show up in my Tesla account, so I wait until it appears before I do the next one. Very weird paying for something I haven't seen or inspected. It better be...

I visited the Trafford Centre collection point earlier this week and noted that the sills on the cars there had a PPF covering on them. I was going to do that on mine, but it looks like its already done. FYI, my wife's RR Evoque has plastic sills.

Just an excuse to (re)post some pictures from the Trafford Centre collection point earlier this week. They are doing around 100 cars per day. SuperChargers are nearly ready too.

Can you use the SuperChargers on the day of collection, I need to travel around 200 miles so will need to charge at some point.

Visited the Trafford Centre today to see how the collections are going. Wow, lots of cars in the car park. The guy said they are doing 80-100 cars a day. SuC are nearly ready too (18 of them).

I visited today (to see all the M3s waiting for collection) and the guy said that all the fencing and building stuff has been removed from the SuC and they must be nearly ready to go....

I was told that a tow bar means a special/factory build so would take longer to arrive.

When I placed my order, I added the tow bar but then the sales advisor told me it would be a factory/specialbuild and delivery would be delayed. I cancelled the tow bar for that reason (and the fact that it isnt rated for the weight of my bike rack plus two ebikes...;-( )

I ordered white with black interior and 19" wheels on the 7th Sept. Spoke to Tesla earlier and they said no update yet. I will hear from them when there is. So nothing basically...:-(

As far as I know you can tether to your phone, so no great loss…?

I’ve cancelled the tow hitch. For my use case I’m outside the operating specification from Tesla. While I’m 90% sure there wouldn’t be a real world issue, I don’t want to be worrying about the chance something goes wrong and either warranty and/or insurance is invalidated.

My bikes (Specialized Turbo Levo and Trek Powerfly) weigh 22kg and 23kg respectively and the Thule rack is 19kg. So 64kg all up. Batteries and motor probably weigh at least 6kg plus other heavier items (bigger brakes, strong frame etc). My analogue MTB weighs 11kg, so maybe I just take that..!

Resurrecting this thread, I have ordered a M3 LR with a towbar, but now read that the accessory limit is 55kg. I will use it to carry a Thule 2 bike rack with two eMTBs weighing approx 45kg for both. I'm sure the rack is more than 10kg, so I'm over the limit...! Seems that I might as well...
