TACC “vision only” on radar equipped Model 3 … phantom braking getting scary

I'm in a similar boat; on small, windy country roads near my house my car slams on its brakes all the time after I moved to vision-only software. It's super scary; I've received a ticket from a cop who was behind me and though I brake-checked him when my car slowed down from 55 (the posted...

    Acceleration Shudder

Oh, they won’t. They’re already saying it’s “within tolerance” of the car and won’t replace.... I guess since ever X eventually develops this problem, it’s a “feature” not a “design flaw”

    Best Suspension settings?

Was this replacement done under warranty? If not, what was the approximate cost?

    Best Suspension settings?

hi all - I have a November 2018 build MX75d. I have read some threads here that indicate that driving in a suspension above “low” has the potential to, over time, lead to acceleration shudder when accelerating between 40 - 60 mph due to stress on the half shafts. When I asked my service...

Tesla X all over nightmare - am I alone?!?!

This. It’s a 100k car that should compare at least to a $70k car and is lower quality and worse service than a $40k car.

Model X For Family of 6?

The 7 seater will have better cargo because the 2nd and 3rd rows can be flattened; in the 6 only the third row can lie flat. I like my 6, though, because not having the full bench in the middle leaves more leg room for the back passengers.

    Tesla is losing me

This whole anti-fart-app thing is baffling to me. First of all, I’m totally fine with the fact that whatever engineer is qualified to write a fart app - or even just wanted to - is doing that instead of working on auto pilot software. Not everyone is a rocket scientist or wears a suit and tie...

Delayed delivery, response DS but he has no actual info

How can I escalate? I don’t have the “contact” option with the escalate checkbox in my account since I don’t even have a car in production yet. I’ve asked my DS to escalate but he says he can’t do anything but cross his fingers. Emails to the main Tesla delivery email just got forwarded to my...

Delayed delivery, response DS but he has no actual info

I ordered my MX on September 18, confirmed on Sept 21. Sales advisor initially said September delivery was possibly as part of EOQ rush, but that delivery would likely be November. September didn't happen, no big deal. Time passed, I got a delivery date of Nov. 20; but the 20th came, and my...

Ordered X on 9/16 with an estimate delivery of November

My 9/18 order still “confirmed” but not in production. Had a delivery appointment for Dec 3 but confirmed my car is not in production yet so won’t make that. My DS is “not 100% sure” if I’ll receive in 2018 or not (though I am very lucky my DS is super responsive, even though he doesn’t seem to...

6 weeks since MX confirmation - account page still says "scheduled for production in our factory"

So frustrating. I don’t understand the prioritization at all. There was the other thread where the guy ordered more than a month after me, thought about cancelling, decided not to, and took delivery yesterday. A month after my order! Very similar config, just different exterior color. He...

6 weeks since MX confirmation - account page still says "scheduled for production in our factory"

Same boat here BTW, ordered 9/18, confirmed 9/21 for "November delivery", VIN assigned 10/6, and still "scheduled". VIN is 1336XX

6 weeks since MX confirmation - account page still says "scheduled for production in our factory"

I think a lot of it comes down to how far shipping is / how long it will take. I’ve noticed they tend to start producing overseas, then Canada, then east coast, then moving west orders first, regardless of what order they were ordered in. I believe this is to maximize the number of deliveries...
