    Voice Command updates

Ever since the major firmware update several months ago which dramatically increased the system voice command abilities, I've been taking advantage of it by using voice for climate control and other internal functions rather than messing around w the touch screen, which still isn't as intuitive...

    More Doom & Gloom predictions

Just saw this on my news thread... seems like I've heard something like this every year since the first Model S came on the market? //www.digitaltrends.com/cars/tesla-is-dying-and-this-is-how-it-will-end/

HOV use - Fast Trak in California

I just got the latest, purple colored CARB HOV sticker... however, I'm uncertain about using it in the Fast Trak designated HOV lanes, prevalent on the 110 and 10 Interstates here in southern California.. Will I have to get one of those Fast Trak transponders as well to use those lanes, on top...

    12V outlet - charging a laptop

There are threads in the Model S/X forums about this, but anyone using the 12v socket on the Model 3 to charge a notebook computer, via an inverter? I've got a Surface Pro, and the power brick shows output rated at 5.8 amps. Also ordered a 12v portable inverter on Amazon for like $15.

    Tesla - Stuttgart (Germany)

Went over to Stuttgart for business recently and checked out this Tesla Sales Center in the middle of the city. Very impressed with it, noticed how familiar it was compared to U.S. based locations. This time, a Model 3 dual motor was displayed, but with a U.S. sticker on it. The sales reps...

    Model 3 motor

Should have found this out earlier; the Model 3 uses a permanent magnet motor, for the RWD versions. I actually thought the entire Tesla lineup had this type of motor, but apparently the Model S and X have the induction style motor. Based on my (limited) research, the permanent magnet motors...

Highway - Low or Standard Braking?

Trying to get some fresh, new opinions and suggestions on this.. when on the freeway/highway, is it more efficient to use Low Regen braking, or the default Standard, which has more aggressive regen braking esp since the v9 software update? The Standard mode doesn’t seem to allow for coasting...

EPIX Berlin Station & a Tesla

Watching season 3 of Berlin Station on EPIX channel, a truly underappreciated series. On the latest episode, a Model S is prominently shown, being driven by one of the season's mai characters... in the eastern European country of Estonia no less! Didn't even know that Tesla's reached all the...
