Yeah, 3 seems fine to me. I have an Acura TL and that only has a rocker switch - Lo and Hi. I use Hi to heat my seat up and when it starts getting too hot, I switch to Lo.

That's the same issue I'm seeing now. Either the Service Centers are extremely swamped, or they are not responding to certain customer issues, like the P3D- issue.

What I did was use 10 x 3/4 stainless steel sheet metal screws and applied a bit of anti-seize to the screw threads. I wanted to prevent the reported issue where people couldn't remove their license plates when installed by the Service Center. If there are any issues, then it's on me.

Do you have the seat heaters turned on? On the display, if you have 1, 2, or 3 squiggly red lines above the seats, the seat heater is on.
