Good deal on winter snows for 18" rims if you are do it yourself like me.

I originally wanted the pilot sports pa4 or dunlop wintersports but none are avail. this year in our size: 235-45-18 xl (make sure to get xl rating, I did fine some wintersports that were not)

anyway I was going to get the new blizzacks lm001 but there are not a lot of reviews are they are very heavy which would impact range. There are also about 240 per tire.

Settled on the michelin x-ice xi3. everywhere including tire rackis about 196.

So after much searching found tirebuyer.com

then there is a michelin 70 rebate you can file online immediately

so to summarize

4 tires. 715.96
7% off -50.12

new total 665.84

rebate -70


total 595.84

that is about 149 a tire..

Darn, the Michelin 70 rebate ended on 11/9/2018. I have the x-ice xi2 tires on my Acura TL and they handle better in the winter than my 4WD Ram truck.
