This is excellent news but I got an email of a local Tesla service center and they said "That part number does not come up as being valid in our system". If anyone has any additional info or even a receipt screenshot or email from a parts person that knows, please share.

I'm in the same boat. Purchased as it was a fundamental feature. It would be different if Tesla said you have XX days until the feature is gone but nothing like that happened. It just disappeared, just like autopilot add-on. I noticed it when the website changed but that's been almost a year...

I charged my car.

Thursday the 17th around 5:30pm I noticed the back of all of the superchargers were open and someone was working on them. I just got back from there and they are up and running! There is also an Ocean County Tesla FB page if anyone is interested.

Interesting.... I hired an electrician to install a Nema 14-50 wall outlet in my garage next to my breaker panel. I guess I probably should have gotten a permit but I didn't. Oh well.

Curious.... Those of you following this thread, what town do you live in? I'm Beachwood...

This is excellent! I live in Beachwood and drive by to check status. I drove by Sunday and there were no chargers so they must have just been installed Monday or Tuesday.

Since there has not been any activity on this thread, I'll post an update or lack there of. As of last week and I'm sure as of today, nothing has changed. I wonder if the chargers are on back order or waiting for the updated chargers....? If this is anything like the Rockaway Township...

It's now listed on the Tesla Supercharger map. States up to 120kW charging.

Interesting... I realize there are a multitude of environment variables. I'll see what happens when it's warmer.

I've gotten about 85kWh charge at the Jersey Shore Premium Outlets in the dead winter and my car was cold. I did notice (at Rockaway) that after it was charging for about 10 min, it did increase. I think it started at around 34kWh.

For those of you who have used this spot, what was your charging rate? I was just there for the first time and it seemed real slow. I was getting about 40kWh. I'm wondering if Tesla set the rate lower to test and will eventually unlock what a supercharger should be charging at....

We are almost there. I can finally drive my Tesla to work knowing i can charge and make it home. I had to purchase an ICE as a commuter vehicle.

I had to make a pit stop at this location. The power was out; Wawa and the gas station were closed. The power company was there doing stuff. I wonder if it's related to the activation of the Superchargers.
