Looking to Replace Rotor and Brake pads for Model X 75D with 45K miles. Tesla quoted me $1900+ for parts and labor. Checked with Midas and Firestone and they don't offer this service in East Bay ( San Ramon). Looking to see what are the alternate options.

Tesla service says normal wear and tear of brake pads and rotor is not covered.

I rejected the diagnosis because of the charge but they still went ahead and did the diagnosis. one of the brakes is completely worn out and started chewing the rotor and another is about to do the same. I keep hearing people that with EV's we get like 100K miles for brake pads and rotor...
