My best guess, they just de-prioritized it. There were no pending issues on the City's side. Any easement issues would have been resolved prior to issuance of the permits the 1st time.

Still looks closed, didn't try to plug in.

I was also told mid-may.

I know Edison is having them relocate some equipment because they apparently didn't put it in the right spot. That was as of last week, not sure what the progress on that is.

I'm surprised to see that Malibu had them submit to LA County Fire, that will probably slow the project down. Fire is super backed up with their reviews.

Looks like they just need to install 2 more charger cabinets. The other missing equipment is Edison equipment. Then it's just finish work (asphalt/concrete).

Based on the permit link above, sounds like its approved ready to issue. Tesla would just need to make the final payment and the permit gets issued.

The San Fernando locatiom seemed to have waited for weeks on SCE to install the transformer, so idk about 1st days of March.

Wow! I went by earlier today and didn't see them. I know they are done with the underground conduit and are cleared to pour concrete. Edison transformer pad is already in place as well.

Fyi, Tesla came in Tuesday to submit their contractor information. That was the only pending item. Permit should be issued any day now.

Agreed, it's still impossible to know but hopefully sooner rather than later. Last time they already had permits in hand and just never started construction.

Plans are stamped and approved, waiting on them to come pull the permit.

Looks unrelated, but the chargers are going right next to there. I'd share more info but it's subject to copyright. Currently plans were not subject to a public hearing and are therefore not public record.

Well, I can confirm that Tesla has resubmitted to the City for new permits. 20 V3 stalls proposed.

"Plan Chrck Approved " 5/11/2021. Hopefully that means we'll see construction starting soon!

I've seen people try to throw CEQA at the construction of a new house, in an existing neighborhood with plenty of adjacent residences. It's ridiculous that people try to abuse our environmental laws for their own selfish desires.

Tesla website was updated with a Q2 2021 opening date, let's see how accurate that is lol

Nope, they have not made any efforts to have their permit reinstated.
