    Lowering the Model 3

Created a new post recently but didn't get any answer. I tought I'd get more feedcak from this thread. Looking to lower my SR+. The Eibach spring seems like the better choice for me as I want slightly lower (approx. 1") and stiffer than stock. I couln't find the SR+ application on the Eibach...

Eibach Springs on LR vs SR+

Looking to lower my SR+. The Eibach spring seems like the better choice for me as I want slightly lower (approx. 1") and stiffer than stock. I couln't find the SR+ application on the Eibach website, only the 2017-2018 long range application. The LR car being approx 200lb heavier, I suspect the...

    Waiting for white interior

Good news. Got the info that a VIN was assigned to my reservation and that the car would be in Montreal at the end of next week. Also got a appointment at Tesla Montreal on the 15th of may. There is hope. I'm currently at day 64. I should beat the record for the longest 2 weeks in history!

Max tire width on RWD M3 with 19"?

I'll be running the OEM 19" Sport wheels. Rear grip will not be an issue. From what I understand, understeer is the main problem and I want to use a front tire as wide as possible on the 19" OEM wheels without rubbing. I will also run a square tire setup. Anyone tried to fit a 265/35R19 on...

Max tire width on RWD M3 with 19"?

I'm planning on running my M3 Std+ in AutoX Street class, which limit suspension & wheels to OEM stock parts. Fitting the widest tires on the OEM setup being the way to go, I would like to know if there's anyone who experimented with tire width and how wide we can go. I was thinking 255/35R19...

    M3P with standard interior

For motorsports enthusiasts, the M3P glass roof, leather seats & premium sound system are a waste of money and unnecessary weight. Any news or info in regards to a M3P witout the premium interior? At 5000$ less, I woud seriously consider it.

Performance Package Upgrade on base Model 3

Good point. SCCA AutoX is ultra competitive in street class... and comoetition is very addictive. It also rewards good drivers. That said, you still need a somewhat potent car. Having tried the LRM3 and the M3P with the performance upgrade package and the suspension felt much better in the M3P!

Performance Package Upgrade on base Model 3

The objective is to get a potent car in the Street Autox class. The more goodies I can get from the OEM, the better as the SCCA limits aftermarket parts use severely in this category. As far as putting 35k in a ICE race car, expenditures go exponential when racing is involved. I think switching...

Performance Package Upgrade on base Model 3

Currently waiting for a Model 3 I can afford, as you guessed, a standard range Model 3. Being involved in amateur Motorsports, I believe the price & lighter weight of the base M3 will make it a weapon of choice for frugal amateur racers. The question I have is, Will Tesla eventually offer the...
