Tesla, TSLA & the Investment World: the Perpetual Investors' Roundtable

Each state has its own set of regulations. It takes time to work through them. My understanding is that new insurance companies never make money at the start.

    Russia/Ukraine conflict

I've heard of them but not all that familiar with them. I think the problem is that they are broad spectrum and might wipe out your drones and other electronics as well as their drones. Also I believe they suffer from inverse square, so there is a range limit. (Dirigibles worked well in WWI...

Not exactly. As I read it, in three years 25% must be Indian content, and only 8,000 low priced cars per year allowed at low duty. This means that when the ramp just starts 25% must be Indian content, and virtually no income from imports. Hard to do with no BEV supply chain in India and very low...

    Coronavirus

The CDC sent a V-Safe text message saying some people are eligible for a Covid booster (apparently the one year between has changed). I went to get one but couldn't because the pharmacy said the Medicare payment system is down and has been for three weeks. Any confirmation on this?

Really. My friends are always surprised at how tight the turning radius is on my X. It's tighter than their cars, which are much smaller.

No, it's most analysts ultimately rely on advertising in the journals they publish in. thanks for the correction.

There is likely more to it than that. I think we need to wait until the investigation is complete. Usually these kind of stories are not the whole story.

I didn't, but English YouTube captions on an English language video are often very humorous. (Hearing isn't great so I always have the captions on)

I suspect there will be many third party solutions which will be better. But it did answer my question about repacking. (I had hoped Tesla would find some automated way.)

That is my opinion. Didn't used to be the case when bias-ply tires were common, but radial tires' casing allows the tread to conform to slanted surfaces.

When there is a large aspect ratio, the sidewall allows much of the tread to conform to the surface--even in these conditions.

The efficiency appears to be similar to my 2020 X. Road trips are no problem unless there is a local power outage affecting a Supercharger.

It does happen elsewhere, but rarely because in most countries lawyers can't work on commission. If you sue, you have to pony up some money. In the U.S. if you can find a lawyer who will work on commission, you don't have to pay a thing.

"The MTT 420-RR is street-legal, allowing it to also claim the fastest street bike in the world title with its top speed of 273 mph (439 km/h); 0-60 0.8 seconds". So the Roadster shouldn't really have a problem.

IIRC, a long time ago, when the UN Security Council actually did something, they intervened in Korea--some who supplied troops are current NATO members. Because political conditions have changed, it's possible that NATO could replace the UN Security Council.

To be a success the Semi should last around 3-4 million miles. No less than 2 million miles. This takes a lot of testing or it will flop. In semi-land tires last up to 350,000 miles on the original tread and the casing has around 500,000 miles of life in it. Engines get rebuilt around 500,000...

It's not a trend, it's been proper typography forever. The double spacing is a typewriter kludge because typewriters are fixed width fonts and single spacing will appear as no spacing with certain character combinations.

Depends on what the "new strategy" is. One way is to stop selling ICE so the fines equal the credits paid. Another way is to just pay the fines without any volume change. A third way is to make enough BEVs to offset the credits. In any event, press releases are cheap.

Won't advertising just amplify any FUD? Most people will think "There must be something to this because they are trying to deny it". Advertising is likely to do more harm than good. I assume the impacts from the side (black dots, regulatory tests) have more force transferred to the passenger compartment because there is less crumple zone distance to mitigate the crash. The front has a large crumple zone, so the force at the passenger compartment is less for any given crash...

I've been parking my Tesla outside since 2013. Mostly it's too hot here (35-45C), cabin overheat is on. I'd say any additional is minimal. I'm not sure why anyone would park a truck inside anyway unless it's located in a high crime area.

That sounds easy to intercept. A better way (which I think has already been suggested) is to have each terminal registered by the Ukraine. However, the issue with this is that Ukraine needs to keep very good track--I'm not sure that's possible in a war situation.

That would work if Putin keeps his word. He's been shown to not keep it. Give him a couple of years to regroup and he'll invade again. After all, this is the second time he's invaded after he broke his word once.
