Vendor Model 3 Öhlins DFV Coilovers - Engineered by Redwood Motorsports ™

Oh mama! Some of the best handling and feeling track cars I've had the pleasure to drive in have the ohlins on them. Fantastic suspension!

I would vote for track mode next!!

Has Anyone Else Gone Anti-Stealth Model 3???

That's too bad. i think they are missing a great opportunity. Would love to be able to login to my account, click on Performance Software package, buy it, download it, and enjoy it. I should have waited a few months and gotten the performance when the price dropped to close to what I paid for...

Would you still have bought your model 3 if it never had autopilot?

early owner here without AP. Now that the new cars comes with standard AP, I will buy a new Tesla with it rather than pay to upgrade my current one. IMO, the early adopters should have gotten basic AP for free. Just so were clear, that's not whining, just stating my opinion, still love...

    Service for paint defect

Truth, I'm really wondering if they will do anything for me where there's missing paint on the doors and door jambs.

    Service for paint defect

Very well said, couldn't agree with you more. If my 20k cars can be properly painted without major defects, Tesla shouldn't have issues either.

    Clicking noise when accelerating

I'm talking about service advisors telling customers that this is normal and nothing to worry about. Might not be serious, but it does need to be addressed and fixed.

whoever says its normal, is flat out lying to you.

Those misisng paint in the door jambs...

Black. Mine isn't as bad in that video but its still pretty bad for what I paid for this car. Ottawa winters will eat this car up without issues.

Let's talk winter tires for the 3

Toyo GSI on the factory aero 18's here. Amazing tire. Paid $225/each CDN. This is a heavy-ass car. Make sure you get a tire that will handle that weight.

For AWD owners wanting a P3D-

I'm really not sure which one it was. This was in May and then went back in June for another 30 minute session...

For AWD owners wanting a P3D-

yeah, but I actually enjoy driving the car, not the car driving me, especially when I'm at a race track. The 1st time the steering wheel pulled me back into the center of the line, I pitted in to make sure everything was indeed off....nope...it was all on again! I switched the lane detection...

Those misisng paint in the door jambs...

...has Tesla said they will do anything for you? I have a couple of doors that you can see the yellow/beige primer still. Very concerned about corrosion happening with little to no protection there...especially in salt loving city of Ottawa.

    Clicking noise when accelerating

Mine is clicking also. I asked before I went to the track if it was anything to worry about and the mobile tech said no, its common with the 3's and the model X. Waiting for our service center to be built in August and the mechanic said they will pull the half shafts and re apply the lithium...

    WeatherTech or Tesla brand

having detailed a few 3's with different mats, I can say the TUX mats cover almost 100% of the carpet and offer the best protection. I have the all weather tesla mats and they don't come close to offering the same level of coverage.

For AWD owners wanting a P3D-

No, I wouldn't be unhappy. lol I don't know if it as just me but when I turn off all the AP nannies at the track, they still seem to come back on almost right away in my session. Its a little annoying having the steering wheel try and pull you towards the center of the track while going...

For AWD owners wanting a P3D-

I would like Track mode in my regular AWD3. Don't really need more power.

    AWD front motor sounds

I want it to be louder. Or even introduce some artificial noise while accelerating. Its just too quiet.

    System restart while driving

Blows my mind people consider this 'normal'. Its happened twice now in the last 2 weeks with my wife driving. It freaks her out and she's already a nervous driver, so this really doesn't help. Its happened to me once but when we 1st got the car so I figured it was something to do with the...

Frustrating experience at Discount Tire - HELP!

With two jacks, it would be pretty easy.

Frustrating experience at Discount Tire - HELP!

This is not unique to Tesla. Every manufacturer will reference the proper jacking points in the owners manual.

    Tesla parts/repair - 3 weeks and crickets...

I've been waiting over 2 months for new seats covers. back ordered, really not much I can do but wait.

Does auotpilot present a looming apocalypse for Tesla?

I think so, just reading the other Tesla forums and once a week you have someone posting something like "Accident while AP engaged" Those not familiar with how AP works and don't read the manual that says YOU MUST BE PAYING ATTENTION AT ALL TIMES will think this system does more than it should...

    Traded in C7 Z06 for M3P

This thread makes me even more angry about the price drop and the fact that if I had waited a month to purchase my 3, I would be in the performance version. Z06 is a beast of a car, see them at bogie owning the track, with the right driver. Helluva statement to move to a 3DP from the Z06...

Found Least Expensive Compatible TPMS Sensors - $25.50/ea

Perfect, thanks. What are the chances I can install the sensors out of the box and hope they sync with Teslas computer?

Found Least Expensive Compatible TPMS Sensors - $25.50/ea

New guy here, quick questions on TPMS sensors. Reading the thread, sounds like its a 2 step process: 1. Buy programmed sensors or buy sensors and program yourself 2. Drive around until they sync with the Tesla system If I don't have a programmer, will most shops have the tools needed to...
