I also read that - at least in the states - you can request for a car to be transferred to your location. Might have to pay a transportation fee but am not 100% sure.

It's because you are on the west coast. CA OR WA BC orders get shipped AFTER others parts of US and Canada because they factor into account delivery time and try to do more deliveries by end of quarter. I don't think it is fair but it is what it is :(

I think I saw MSM MYLRs in Vancouver or Calgary as inventory. Have u guys been watching that too? You can request to be matched with those and skip the wait

Not an expert. But looking at what they are doing there is still a chance you might get it within Q2. But as you get closer to the end of Q2 the quality might also get worse because they also try to speed things up. so you gotta be really careful on delivery if that happens. Good luck!

That's messed up especially when you are taking delivery on a weekend and you can't go to a bank to settle things. Do you have the option to bring a bank draft instead? I only have that option (Canada) and can't do ACH transfers.

I use it. We switch driver some times. What I don't use are back seats. Maybe I won't have them when I take delivery. And because it's a Tesla I should feel ok about it.

I'd rather pay an extra $175 to ensure my car isnt missing a standard feature. I also think its very unlikely they will be able to add it back later - looks like a complicate process to take apart the seats and put the module back in, or an expensive process to replace the seats entirely.
