Same issue early Feb 2019 Model 3. Mine only happens on one stretch of road near my house where Left repeater camera has the issue intermittently but every night. This was even before FSD Beta rolled out. Since FSD Beta I now also get the side camera warnings though it doesn't specify left...
I just noticed this same thing today. Got in car had a sentry event and when I viewed it I thought the couple I had been talking with about Tesla were wearing red jackets but side cams they were orange and rear cam they were red.
I thought maybe I had found the issue with my side cams...
Don't give up. Gainesville took a long time to get installed but that also had to do with the city/county permitting system and how many hoops you have to jump through to get thigs approved.
Found my answer in a different titles thread.
For anyone else who is still having issues with the under coverings ripping here is the other thread

curious if any other Model 3 owners are having issue with the rear undercover tearing?
I've had to replace the undercover twice now. 1st time was about 9months after bought the car and now again 6 months later. Damage is in the same spot both times. Mobile Tech came out 1st time but couldn't...
The Gainesville SC is back online however 4 of the stalls have been marked off and are still not working. They have red tape around them saying danger do not enter. The 2 stalls on each end of the row are the ones still down.
Yes, I've had this happen as well, most recently I stopped with 20% at a SC on a major highway and 3 of 6 stalls were inop and others were in use. I ended up driving to another SC location off the highway about 25 miles and 1st one I plugged into started then failed a few moments later. Lucky...
Your other option if you have an American Express card is to use that to make the purchase then put it into PlanIt and pay it over time for a much smaller amount than an 11% loan or even the standard interest of the credit card. Plus you also get your cash back from AMEX for the purchase which...
It depends on your situation and insurance company.
I switched from a Honda Civic Si to the Model 3 and the insurance (State Farm) was about the same. It is bundled with home and multi car. There was no increase with my recent renewal.
Yes, you can hotspot your phone and connect your Tesla to it. I had the unfortunate lose of internet due to a cut cable by road crew the same day I got V10 update notice. I had to hotspot my phone and did the software download that way. worked without issue.
As for hackers able to access...
I've had the mud flaps on and even after a 1700+ mile trip they are secure. I was concerned with the top section only be secured to the liner but it has not been an issue. I also live on dirt roads and the mud spray on the side of the car is definitely reduced.
So first off there is no more EAP option for upgrade. You will need to upgrade to FSD (Full Self Drive) which will then unlock Smart Summon.
If the only reason you would upgrade is for Smart Summon then I would tell you it is not worth it in the current state. Tesla has a long way to go...
I just completed a 1700 mile trip and didn't have any issues with breaking when overtaking Semi trucks.
I have noticed that the visualizations when passing a truck are very erratic compared to past software versions. I don't know if the visualizations that we see on the screen are...
In car Nav does not have a filter system however if you tap the screen and select the charger icon in the lower right hand of the screen it will show you a list of Tesla superchargers as well as destination charger locations. If you scroll down the list that comes up the destination chargers...
You really don't want it in the current state it is. Not as polished as Tesla makes it sound and definitely needs a ton of work to make it actually a useful and usable feature. Don't get me wrong it has been fun to play with but not all that usable and limited 200ft you may as well just walk...
If you have condensation like that showing in GrumpyManUK posted pics and it is there consistent then that is not "normal" and Tesla should replace the unit.
Yes, This has been an issue mostly in the tail lights. Just make a service appointment to have it replaced. Take a picture to attach to your service request as well.
I had this in the left tail light of my Jan 2019 build and the mobile service tech came out. Took him about 20 minutes to...
Ok, so now that I have actually done my usual driving since updating to V10, I can confirm the steering wheel nag has changed.
Prior to V10 you had about 5/10 of a mile before you would be prompted to apply steering wheel pressure.
Post V10 it now varies depending on the roadway you are...
I was thinking the same thing. Can it detect altitude/elevation of the location you are summoning the car to?
As for the pay garage, I actually tried this after work the other night and it failed to navigate to pay booth. it actually tried to exit through the entrance lane instead of the...
So far lot of nice things in the v10 update. Only thing so far negative is the decreased time between steering wheel nags. Before the update could go 1/2 mile between nags now only about 2/10th of mile.
If you can run a NEMA 14-50 plug off that 50A line then your mobile connector will give you 30mph charge as well. You just wouldn't be able to run the welder and charge at same time.
At first pay attention to the way your car drives and what and how it reacts to the surroundings you drive in. Let it drive but if something makes you uneasy be ready to take control. The more you drive and more you let it do the driving the more comfortable you will be with how it handles...
As SSonnentag stated, you can override TACC control by pressing the accelerator. I do this all the time in my model 3. I pull off a roadway that is 50mph and the road I turn onto is 30mph but the mapping still has it as 50 mph. Just accelerate normally engage TACC and dial in the speed you...
Same here as well since yesterday. If you go into the phone settings and select the app do a force close and then clear the Data not just the cache then it should work again. No need to uninstall/install.
Currently you only trip info you get is in the trip meter mentioned above. You will have to get a 3rd party app to get more detailed information. I use TeslaFi and it gives you a ton of information about your trips, charging, battery info and more.
Log into your Tesla account and select contact us and use the online chat function. You will get a live person and they can usually assist you. I had to do this when I couldn't schedule a mobile appointment and come to find out they were not able to either at the time for some reason but they...
I"ve had my Model 3 since Jan. this year and rain X on the windshield as well as the rear window works great no issues even when I need to turn the wipers on.
Tesla announced this back at the end of May this year. It is normally only for locations they identify as high volume usage so that more people can get charged since that last 20% takes longer than the initial 50-80% SOC.
You would think since the SC locations are all networked that they...
I noticed mine not being able to connect to my WiFi after the latest update even though I park it in the same place every night and it is basically right under the router. I ended up doing the Brake and steering wheel combo reset and it now seems back to normal and connecting right when I pull in.
Just my thoughts on this. Why would you want a screen protector on your screen? It's not like your cell phone where you carry it around , drop it, etc ... so unless you have things in your car flying around that could hit the screen then you probably don't really need one. Do you have...
It's actually blue if you are just drifting out of your lane with no collision detection triggered and red if the car senses a possible collision. At least that is how my cars EDLA alerts area.
It should be doable though you might not like the scenario ... 56 mph max speed leaving about 5% safety on arrival. Or a quick 10 min stop in Kingman provided you started out @ 99%.
This is all based on aBetterRouteplanner your mileage may vary. :)
I've had the opposite from the 3 of you. If my car drifts to the left and crosses into the next lane or in the case of a 2 way road the center line it just beeps and lights up blue then nudges the steering back to the right and into the lane no sudden jerking or yanking. If it drifts to the...
It still lets you go more than 5 over speed limit just depends on the road. I drive a road daily that starts out 2 lane undivided 60mph and allows me to increase while in AP 5+ or more until I get into a small town where it progressively slows to 50, 40 then 30 and at each of those changes the...
