I texted Tesla and was told they will reach out to the delivery agents and get back to me.

Tesla cancelled my delivery appointment scheduled for Friday and told me I’d need to reschedule after the weekend. The app now states that my order will be cancelled as a hold is not available?

My delivery was scheduled for tomorrow in Carlsbad, CA. They cancelled the appointment and stated that "all S/X models need further inspection" and I cannot reschedule the appointment until after this weekend.

They will have to add a camera to get full functionality. No way to resolve the front bumper camera blind spot in software.

It’s hard to understand why they are still building 2023’s this late in the year. They don‘t link any changes to model year, why not switch the VINs from P to R to remove the incentive for people to place orders on hold?

The Zero-G wheels look great, are you sticking with the Goodyear Supercar 3R tires for daily use?

Has anyone with the 20" Zero-G wheels looked at alternatives to the Goodyear Supercar 3R tires?

The current HW4 cars do not have a camera in the front bumper and use the windshield camera which has an obvious blind spot in front of the bumper. This results in very poor park assist performance. The park assist functionality was much better in the pre-HW4 models that had USS.

Hopefully they'll add the front bumper cameras to eliminate the blind spot and enable a vision parking solution.

There's a lot of inventory left in SoCal at $7500 off.

Given that there are currently no cameras or sensors with visibility in front of the front bumper, the vision alternative will not be able to perform at the same level as the USS solution with sensors.

It would also be interesting to see the weight savings of the track wheels.

Interesting that while new inventory is high, the used refresh model S inventory in SoCal has been zero recently.

Tesla is not trying to deliver quality high end cars, they're trying to deliver mass-market cars. The Tesla mission is "to accelerate the advent of sustainable transport by bringing compelling mass-market electric cars to market as soon as possible."

The new screen has a smaller bezel, no new functionality. It doesn't seem worth a retrofit.

There are a lot of inventory Ultra Red's in SoCal, it's certainly possible you could get one in April.

There is no camera on model S that can see the area immediately in front of the front bumper. Tesla will need to add cameras or sensors to have a properly functioning park assist feature.

If the car is a local trade to the dealer and was not acquired at auction, does that change the outcome? In that case, is it reasonable to expect a car with FSD to retain FSD?

It’s quarter end, there are new inventory cars available on the Tesla website.

I‘ve seen several cars with a large, ~2 week gap in the price history. They seem to be listed, then disappear, then come back a couple weeks later. Is the likely explanation that a customer clicked buy, and then chose not to complete the purchase?

Autopark, navigate on autopilot, and auto lane change are included with enhanced autopilot for $6k. You don’t need FSD for any of those.

The 19” tempest wheels and their aero hubcaps look very out of place on a $100k car.
