Small update, currently on day 12. SC is claiming they still need more fluid and they will “attempt to escalate” my service. I almost feel as if they messed something up and are using the “we’re out of brake fluid” story as a cover. I may drive down to the SC soon. They also refused a refund on the 2 damaged zero g wheels and missing tire.

I went by my SC today to speak to the SC manager. i pointed out that there were two curb rashes which are now on my Signature wheels which were not there before. He told me to get quotes and forward them to his private cell phone and that Tesla would cover my wheel repair.

Also I asked him why it took 8 days (SC is open 7 days a week) to install my CCBK kit. He told me that it was there first CCBK install and they were having problems flashing the ABS module. They had to flash it twice, once before the CCBK install and again 2nd time after flushing from dot3 to dot5.1. They had issues with the flash so they flew in a couple of Tesla Track Pack specialist. They had to wait a few days for them to arrive/train the folks doing the install.

Tech confirmed he bled the lines five times. Also he did test the 20” wheel on both front and rear. I showed him the above post and he said I should be good.

Definitely will take some getting used to with the longer peddle travel. Car does subjectively feel a bit more nimble. Can’t really see how things feel given my ride home was in slow rush hour traffic.

The car feels complete- or at least much closer to it.

I spent the day on track at the Canaan Motor Club in Canaan, NH. They hosted a third annual EV-only HPDE event on their 1.3 mile road course. I attended the previous two events (the first in my Model X 100D, and last year in my Plaid) and had brake overtemp alerts after two-three hot laps. The other plaid with me with original brakes experienced overheating yesterday too. I pushed the car hard all day long without a single overtemp warning and boy do these brakes work well. The first couple of applications on the outlap build up heat and yield incredible stopping power thereafter. Looking forward to future events.

I've already adapted to the longer brake pedal travel and no longer an issue for me.

I still can’t fathom what is happening. The amount of fluid they receive with every track package is staggering. Like 6+ liters.
Agreed. I’m still almost thinking it’s a cover story for something they damaged during installation and need time to fix. Trying to give them the benefit of the doubt with all this. I asked how much fluid they initially received with the kit and how much they are expecting on the 14th. I have considered reaching out to BBB.

If they’re concealing damage without disclosing that’s criminal.

Y’all ever wonder how much of a process it’s going to be to routinely refresh brake fluid as part of normal maintenance? Lol

Has anyone that needed the revised knuckles (earlier builds) actually gotten a track package installed? My SC has been telling me for 2+ months (with 5 reschedules) that they "don't have parts". But there's no further explanation or any idea when (if) they will ever get "parts". I have an original 06/21 build so I know it will need the new knuckles. But is that even what the hold up is? Or is my SC just completely incompetent or unwilling to get on the phone and track down my parts?

Yes, a friend of mine had his install and needed the revised knuckles. He experienced a week or two delay until the knuckles arrived.
