Ft Bumper Looking HOT AF - Splitter review..

I have that one sitting in my garage. I've been debating putting it on, and I think your pictures just convinced me. I've owned thousand dollar carbon fiber front lips before, and they ALL take on damage at some point. The $100 on this piece isn't going to phase me WHEN it takes damage...

How is your white interior doing?

I gotta wipe the seats down too?! Eff that. Got too much to do and I clean the outside of my car too much as it is.

Is the “Performance” Version Really Worth the Cost?

You know how many people I've almost hit because they were just perfectly aligned with that A pillar? Too much.

    First signs of customer deliveries?

When the first Model Ys are released, you better believe this site, Facebook, Twitter and Instagram will tell you all about it. As for me, I think I'll drive myself to the nearest Tesla delivery site and just stare at the new Ys rolling out.

    Model 3 2020 front end

Today I tried Ruffles Lime and Jalapeno chips for the first time. Pretty good, and very lime flavored. I also bought two Bang energy drinks. One was Peach Mango and I forgot the other flavor. It was a good day.

I’ll get roasted but here goes anyway

I love having zero keys to worry about. Furthermore, I love that the backup key is inside my wallet on my person at all times when I'm out. That key fob would just get lost.

Scuffed my brand new 20" Performance Gray/Grey wheels

I must be more OCD than most. In 27 years of driving, I've never curbed my wheels. Like most, if die a little inside if it did happen.

    Body Work

For what it's worth, my insurance company specifically told me to contact Tesla directly and ask for which Tesla approved shops they recommend in the area. For obvious reasons, that made me feel good.
  11. S

    Body Shop Cannot Preorder Parts

I just had body work done and the shop kept my car the whole time in Service Mode. Furthermore, I received emails from Tesla regarding ordered body parts for my car, even though I obviously did not order them myself. That suggests your body shop is telling you the truth in this case. Also...

    Body Work

If you're only responsible for the deductible, then why sweat it? That's why you paid for insurance. However, your premiums might go up.

    Body Work

I can tell from your wheels that you care more for your car than the average Tesla owner does. What was your reaction like to this accident?

    Alignment Shops in the "OC"

ModBargains has aligned plenty of Teslas.

    How is passing performance

When you say "M3" do you mean the Model 3? Or do you mean the BMW M3? Because he's also talking about BMW M4.

I hate convertibles in general, so I hate this even more.

Show me your chrome delete on black. Not sure on finish

Yes, it's "crept" back twice now for me. I said eff it and bought actual carbon fiber caps. Looks better in my opinion.
  18. S

Show me your chrome delete on black. Not sure on finish

Satin and (especially) Matte can look like flat Plastidip in certain lights. If you like that, cool. Reference: look at your wipers. Do you like them better a little shiny looking or flat looking? That'll help your decision.

    Beep/bong when entering the car.

Is it more of a boyoyoyoing noise? If so, that's not the car unlocking/locking. I have it too btw.

Why Do Headlights Stay On—For All Cars?

Weird. I like headlights on at all times. I think it makes the car look "sportier" in addition to the increasing safety, of course.

    Perfect Charging Routine

Where's the 90% daily charge option?

Valet gave my card key to another Tesla driver. It’s gone.

If given an option, I do not valet either. Have many friends who worked as valets in college and they've got some really messed up stories. That said, there are definitely places that only do valet. Yes, they're bourgeois ass places, but they do exist.

Piss poor customer service from RPM Tesla

They did my chrome delete (can't believe I paid that fee). Had to go back because it was already peeling in several places within a couple weeks. Watched "someone" scratch up my paint as he worked the emblem in the parking lot. Returned again to fix other things and noticed they put a couple...

Piss poor customer service from RPM Tesla

    Glorified car wash store.

    Clicking/creaking front door hinges

Yup, mine just started making that noise too. Also, it now has a "spring boing" sound after closing the door. Made in the USA is great for the country but damn if it isn't crap a lot of times.
  28. S

Auto dip versus powder coat versus vinyl wrap

Powder coat if you can afford it. Plastidip will eventually look worn out at some point.

When will Metallic Silver be available again?

Silver was a very close second choice 4 me. I think it shows off the bodylines very well and adds to the futuristic vibe of the model 3. That said, black is still my #1 choice. Don't regret it despite needing more upkeep. When clean, black is the sexiest.

First Car Wash of Brand New M3 (Covered in Micro-Scratches)

That sucks. Yes, it can be fixed with paint correction. If you've never done it before and don't care to spend money on equipment or waste time as a DIY, just pay a professional. I promise you those scratches were present when you picked up the car; just bad (or good) lighting. When I...

IKON Motorsports Front Lip for Model 3: A Review

Sup with the yellow fog tint.
  32. S

I run over an animal and destroyed my new front lip (video)

This is why I'm so iffy about front lips (especially expensive ones). Every one I've owned has been damaged by some form of road debris. It's not a matter of if, but a matter of when.
  33. S

Um... did this just really happen?! SR+ rear heated seats Musk tweet!

No, because I have two car seats in the back. :)
  34. S

    Yeah, I Bought A Digital License Plate.....sigh.....

I'm someone who is totally down to buy this (my money, my spending). I REALLY only want it not to out those ugly stickers on my car, but they still aren't approved for that. So many Teslas on the road that would be otherwise good looking, ruined by those carpool stickers.

    Tesla owner equal rich?

LOL someone thinks you're doing something wrong (or they have the wrong car). In any case, I'd be careful parking anywhere near that place. Seems someone's already watching you.
  37. S

What did you look at other than the 3

Bolt, Volt, i3, Niro, and Kona. It's my first EV and I was trying to avoid a Tesla because there's so damn many of them where I live.
  38. S

Paint correction and ceramic coating on Metallic Silver. Worth it?

Are you the kind of person who will take a bright light and inspect your paint for scratches? If yes, do the protection. If you've never even thought about doing that, no protection.

Keeping a model 3 clean: lazy person's guide?

This is great advice, but she literally said a lazy person. AMMO NYC and his methods are the literal opposite of lazy.

Keeping a model 3 clean: lazy person's guide?

OP, honestly, just take it to a regular handwash. Your car will have microscratches, but if you're the kind of person who thought ONR was a pain, you're better off just paying for a handwash. Life is short; if you're not a OCD car enthusiast, just take your car to the car wash and be done...

    I dropped it

OP, an easy fix to your driveway problem is to buy some lumber from Home Depot to serve as ramps. Lay them lengthwise so you're only traveling the width (so like a couple inches). They can butt against your driveway and can easily be put away in the garage.
  42. S

    Anyone regret white interior?

I wear jeans 100% of the time. I don't have the energy to keep up with an interior that reacts to jeans.

    RPMTesla not responding to e-mails

They did my chrome delete. It was so bad I had to go back and they redid it. Portions are still peeling and bubbling today. They dented my car in 2 places around the side markers, presumably from a tool to remove said side markers. I paid a professional to remove the dents. Mark took off my...

    Review: D2 Racing lowering Spring & Signature Wheel SV104 & Toyo T1A

Yeah, your review of these springs doesn't sound encouraging. I just got the Unplugged Performance Mild springs installed and I'm really liking them so far. I couldn't go for the slammed look because my driving destinations are too unpredictable, but I'm done with those days anyway.

Wife is afraid to use frunk

I'm not saying you're wrong, but the hood seems to have sufficient momentum when dropped from a standard height. Unless you're telling me all aluminum frunks need manual assistance for closing such as those of the Model S and X (which I wouldn't know).
