I emailed the Owings Mill Tesla body shop photos of my 3's damage along with the estimates I already received. Saw numerous mentions that those shops only do minor body work. Guess I'll find out what minor means to them. Hope to hear back from them soon with good news they can handle.

I don't necessarily disagree, however the affected area is not the front bumper or the rear bumper. For those areas, I do believe I would want tesla to handle because of the electronics in it. This is side door damage and should be able to be fixed by any body shop.

Initial non-Tesla authorized shop estimate is $3,202 and estimates 8-10 business days to do the work. This is a local shop I've done business with before and they do a great job. I'm going to get a Tesla-authorized quote as well. It's less than I was thinking it might be.

Technically she never confessed. I confronted her and she said she did it. If I hadn't confronted her, outcome would probably have been different. As previously mentioned, the camera made the difference because I knew the make/model/color of the vehicle that did the damage.
