    Thanks for all the very detailed advice, sounds like the supercharger stop is the way to go. I tend to cruise at 90mph (if conditions allow) in my current cars but may knock that back a bit and use the intelligent cruise thingy.

    i’ve just ordered my “ludicrous” model S, and am about to amend the order for the larger wheels, so have two questions. First, why does this decrease the range, what’s going on there? Secondly, I’m in the UK, where temperatures never really hit extremes, and my parents live precisely 300 miles...

    Thanks. I don’t do many miles, so will probably never get as far as needing to replace them, I’d not realised they were different compounds, is that why they lessen the range? The trade-off, I’d hope, is better grip?

    Afternoon. I just ordered a Model S and wouldn’t mind some input on the specification. I’ve ordered it in grey, with the white interior, 19” grey wheels and the enhanced autopilot option. I think I’ll change to the 21” wheels, as I think that they look a fair amount better, does anyone think...

    Evening all. I’d just like to introduce myself. I live in London, and had been in the local Tesla shop a few times but wasn’t tempted at the previous price level. I drive an Audi R8 Plus, and a BMW M3, and sometimes my wife’s smart car. I deceived tomhave another look after the price drops...
